| Dervish char to Ascalon... no quests / missions ? |

Ok took me long enough and finally in ascalon there are no quests and missions... :(
Can I only start doing quests and missions from lion arch ?
Anyone that confirm this ?

u can do the missions before Lion's Arch but not the quests cuz it has something to do with the timeline or something

You can do the missions, as you do not need quests to start those. As for quests, you can only do them starting from LA.
Now as for missions, they aren't like Missions in Nightfall, where you have to talk to a NPC to start them. There will be a mission start button on your party window. :)

Go from Ascalon City to the Great Northren Wall. And follow the storyline (u can skip mission if u want).

the missions ARE story line for non-tyrian chars(well,missions in general are part of the story in every campaign) as they have no quests available for them until LA.

that's exactly how it is :)
(when u start mission u will probably see message saying that u are about to experience events that occured in tyria prior to your arrival-kinda virtual history lessons :D )

Another side note is that you don't get XP for missions before Lions Arch either. you only get credit towards your Protector of Tyria title.

I have a similar problem.
I need to get my dervish to ascelon city, I have nightfall and the other games so no problems there. -but I need to know how to get there without going over lev 9 I want to do the arena can someone help?
im like 3 min new to fourms and know no idea on how to work it so please contact me on my char

It was answered in the topic you started before you asked here. If you want to get there and stay under level 9, would prob have to get a run LA>Beacons>Yak's>Ascalon. That would be your best bet.
