I am building up my Ele for farming and I have found a few builds and trying them out. I'm just trying them out on fire imps outside of Lions Arch. Here is the build link.
I know this says solo green farmer, but I am just looking for something that I can farm with. The problem I am having with this build is I am only taking on 2 or 3 imps at a time and I have no healing.

Check youtube for E/A elemental sword farming. Otherwise : Bosses are good for elite tome farming, you get plenty of gold with that :D

there is a build i use for farming hulking stones in hm, and also can be used for bergens farming, involves:
VwK
vital weapon
stone flesh aura
armor of earth
sliver armor
waepon of warding
glyph of lesser energy
earth attunment
VwK can deal ith health while also dealing dmgm use stone flesh and armor of earth to keep armor up, and cast sliver armor to deal again. maybe a bit slow to use at first but becomes easy very quickly

all depends on what you planning on farming!
the build that you posted.
looks like a good build
could alos try this as an experiment - I would take out Shadow refuge and put in ward of melee/elements, as this will has a 50% chance to block attacks and you will save energy as you will only have to recast it evry 20sec(ish)where as shadow Refuge only last 4sec, so you would have to cast more often.
the build i currenty farm with
Fire - 12 +
water - ?
Energy - 5/6
Inspiration(maybe) - whatevers left
arcane
mist form(E)
channeling (I think)
MS
bed of coals
frozen burst
breath of fire
lava font
cast in that order, and recast mist form as it runs out
hope this helps, if ya need other farming builds just whisper me.

your gonna have to have some sort of better health management i think. if your going to farm your gonna want to do it in hm. and they will eat right through armor of earth. unless your quick enough to kill all those foes with your skills. otherwise i would suggest getting sandstorm in there somewhere, and stone flesh aura maybe.
if you take stoneflesh aura and armor of earth you should be getting 0 health hits from foes. so you wont need health management.

Awesome, thanks for the suggestions. I dont have my Ele off of starter island in Nightfall yet, so I will have to advance forward in order to get a couple of those.
I was just testing in HM outside of the Sunspear Great Hall. I want to be able to take down that group of Stalking Nephilas

Try my HSE build...I've taken most of that stuff on, just avoid the Mesmers.

Keo, thanks. I dont have a few of those skills. I would have to pretty much play all of Nightfall in order to get them. I'll see what I can match up to replace some of those though.

You can make an E/Mo version and replace Stone Striker & MoE with Balths Spirit & Either Essence Bond, Armour of Earth or something to heal depending on what you need.

You can buy any skill you have already unlocked for PvP at any level 20+ skill trader. If you have some spare balth faction it'd save you having to go through the game. Either that or unlock for PvP then buy a few tomes :)
