Not a huge celebrity, but for anyone who's big into fantasy novels, I have met R.A. Salvatore (of Dritz Do'Urden fame)both online (he played Everquest on the same server I played on) and in person (I managed a very large bookstore in my city and he came to do a signing). He's a great guy, very witty and funny to talk to. He loves his fans too! He was scheduled for only a 2 hour signing in my store, but he stayed a total of 6 hours just to make sure he was able to say hi and sign for all his fans in line. I never read his work nor was interested in it prior to that, but that impressed me so much I bought a copy and had him sign it to me :-)
lol now that was funny...
back on topic, yeah i thought about it a few times, i mean after 2 years of playing the game there has got to have been at least 1 person who is at least a minor celeb somewhere in the world that i played with/traded with/argued with...
Shame we will never know because they won't want to be famous and hounded in game aswell as RL would they?
Saying that i would wet myself if i found out 1 of the ppl in my alliance was a famous person :P

If you ever see an Afro-American looking Warrior standing over Undead Rurik or Vizier Kilbron and saying "I piety the fool!". We'll know enough...
