My Adventure Comes to an End

I'm about to finish up a great adventure and accomplishment that I am very proud and can't wait to complete and wanted to share with all of you.

In about half an hour, the quest I began in January 2006 will come to a successful close. I will be taking my last final exam to close my course of studies at Boston University and will become a Master of Computer Information Science. Depending on my grade for this course I will end up with a GPA around 3.4.

I received my undergrad degree from Johns Hopkins (BA Economics) in May 2005. I was having trouble finding a job so I started working for my dad as an account manager for his construction company. After a few months, he sent me an email with the ad for BU's MSCIS program. I figure I'd give it a shot because it was a field I wanted to get into and it would be a good idea to start it after a short break (8 months) or I might not do it at all.

A few times I have asked for help concerning some IT aspects and received helpful information. Thanks to all of you and especially Lord Starwolf. He helped me with a paper and provided a great direction and I ended up getting an A+ on the project.

Needless to say, this is going to be a celebratory weekend for me and I won't be around much until the middle of next week. So please, excuse any uncomprehensible or beligerent posts that I might make until next Wednesday.

Congratz on that accomplishment.

That is almost as good as hitting 50 (I suspect... I haven't actually done that yet). Try not to get into too much trouble over the weekend and we rarely read everything you post anyway so it shouldn't be a problem.

Although, you might get more comprehensive as you drink...

You did what i couldn't, stayed in and got the paper. And I'm glad that suggestion really worked out. I can't remember what i suggested (slept since then, just not enough) but I do remember having the conversation. Now you can do some work for me on the side really cheap, right?
