Elementalist
Fire = Own everybody
Earth = Own farming
Water = Own by snare
Air = Own at pvp
plus
you can have 100+ energy
only downside is the clothes, but if you make a girl character, even those are ok
or if you are opposed to ele, make a mesmer.
Nothing beats a good mesmer.

You could always buy some more character slots!
I think I'm up to 12 now, I have one of everything, a perma pre (Currently at Sanctum Cay!!) && a PvP slot.
But you do need a caster or 2, Ele's are great fun & Monks are great for farming too. You seem to like the physical classes tho so I'm not sure that a Mesmer or Rt would suit you as they often require a very different play style...mind you you might just find that you love the difference!

Read up a bit, he's already made his decision ^_^
To the OP, I'm just going to give some helpful hints now when you are at a starting point.
It is best advised of you to run Fire Magic for a while, until you reach atleast lvl 20. In PvE many consider it the best magical attribute, with it's high amount of damage which you can spread to several foes. Whenever you use your attribute points, use them wisely. Try to only use it into 2 or 3 attributes tops. Usually, the most optimal is the majority of the points in the magical attribute of your choice, and then put some points in energy storage aswell. Last, try to make it a thumb rule in the start to use "x" attunement, it is an easy yet great way to keep your energy
I hope that helps for starters ^^
