| Just bought... Do They Charge Credit Card? |

Hey there everyone. I just joined, and just bought City of Heroes Good VS Evil tonight. My friend told me about it, and I have always wanted to play it, so here I am. I was looking on the box and it says "First Month of Play Included" but you need a Credit Card to activate or something? I have two bank cards, but there isn't much money in either account. (I don't believe in banks lol) I was just wondering how much (if anything) the card will be charged, or have put on hold if I put my #s in. Does anyone have any idea?
I just don't want my accounts to go in overdrawn status. They charge me $35 dollars if that happens, and that sure isn't free. (No Kidding lol)

No, they won't charge until you after the month. I used my card to activate (couldn't find a game card within 30 miles of my locale), then immediately turned off auto renewal.
Been using game cards ever since.
Debit card or credit card, either works.

It should work like it says. The first month of play is free, at the end they will charge the card that you register the account with. Since you dont like banks, the good news is that you can purchase time cards for the game and use those instead of a credit/debit card.

This is correct, once you register, you'll see that it will say when your billing cycle starts again. I pay yearly, so mine says something like October 11, 2008 (or somewhere around there). Once October 11th comes about, my card automatically gets charged and it moves up a year.
