What if, in GW:2, you belonged to a different guild for each race of character you were? That would be pretty cool.
What are your thoughts?

Well, if i enjoyed the guild I was in, I would just join the same guild with every character... I like having the guilds being account based, and I don't think that is going to change. Would be cool to have a Charr/Norn only guild though :)

Well, from what I've read, there will likely be a lot more character specialization, meaning people will be focusing the vast majority of their time on a single character, so it would be a lot easier to make a Norn guild. That idea would be kind of cool, being in two guilds at once, but I think I'd like it to stay account based.

personally i think the guild system right now is pretty good. since for other games each char u hav can belong to diff guilds u might get confused on wht u were talking about with this person and which in-guild event etc...
and i think that each guild can only contain 100 members (someone check) and suppose you can make 5 chars on a single account, if every player joins the same guild with all 5 chars then there would only be 20 members overall XD

i wish i could have my pvp slot in a different guild. that way i could have a joke guild whenever i pvp and have my regular guild when i pve.

It's an interesting idea, and it is how the guild system works in wow, but in wow you can have an unlimited number of members, i think. If they were gong to make you join a new guild w/ every char, they would either need to make the guild member caps really high, or just make the guild system account based, like it is already.
But, yes, in theory, it would be interesting to be in multiple guilds w/ multiple chars on 1 account.

I'm not saying every character, just every race. So all your Asura characters will be on one guild....just a thought.....
