Didn't GW used to come out with a new wallpaper every Wednesday?
The last one I saw was Gwen which was a little while ago. =(

They use to come out with weekly Wallpapers on Wednesday. With the approach of GW:EN they was putting all their focus on the game and info for the game on the website. With the release of GW:EN now a week past, all the fun stuff on the site will be returning soon. Gaile addressed this in one of her ingame visits a week or two ago, and addressed this on her Wiki talk page just a few days ago. :)
