|
|
|
Hi all ,I was searching today for a complete new Hero team build.I was using this before
2 Mm's With Aura of the lich
1 Paragon hero With Tof,Anthem of flame, Focused anger ,... (support).
Now i'm going to complete gw:en on my ranger now (did it on my monk already) but i want to start good, so i need a good hero team build.
I like to use Vekk, Gwen,Talkora and Jora. I hope you guys can help me with a good set-up :)

i would say use the 3 eles and make them SF spikers, take 2 hench monks, zho and eve ^^ it owns
but i would let gwen be anti melee mesmer, tahlkora zealous b. monk, and vekk lightning hammer spiker(elem attunement and lightning hammer and air attunement, rest doesn't matter)
its a good balanced build so have fun!!
thanks to mimori for this nice signature!
if you find big grammar faults in my posts, please pm me to tell me what i did wrong.

Since Nightfall was release. I always used Sou, Zhed and Olias. With EotN, I started to use Vekk instead of Zhed. I would have Zhed as a Sandstorm/Warder but with Veek I have two SF eles and Olias as a MM. Depending on the situation, I would swithc out Olias for Mel...

Personally I don't like SF on heroes anymore. They run out of energy too fast. I run this on all three of my Ele heroes:

It's great because it deals consistent damage and they hardly ever run out of energy.

On my monk in EotN I just go all out nuking usually, although one hero spot tends to vary.
me (monk - but I often tank, as hench suck at that, and sometimes go smite)
menhlo
lina
cynn (has metshower :D)
herta (has sandstorm :D)
vekk (sf)
zhed (sf)
sousuke (sf)
but if I need some more toolboxing i'll switch out vekk or herta for a necro, mes or ranger, depending on the situation. With all those tricky dungoen bosses I like a BHA ranger to lock out their immense damage (especially the eles), handily Zho the ranger hench has BHA.

______________________________________________
When I'm playing, I almost always use the first three heroes I posted. The Henchmen I use are: Mesmer, Monk, Monk, Ele. With that combination I can rush into any group and kill them within a few seconds. With the three monk backline I hardly ever die either.
SF ele's work best in pairs or more, it's basically pointless to have one by itself. So in places with very few bodies I take out both necros and replace them with the double SF ele's.
When I play with another person, our setup is almost always the same:
Two players (doesn't matter what)
2 monks
2 SF
1 MM
1 whatever, I usually take the SS/Wards
Always remember to micro your heroes and you'll be fine with prettymuch whatever.

if it's an ele hero, try combining Elemental attunement elite skill and air/fire/warer/earth attunement.. with both active at all time, they will pretty much never run out of energy... depending on points in ES and whatever their primary attribute is, say for a skill that costs 15 energy, they d gain back like 8-10 energy ... add that to +4 energy regen, you can see just how many spells they can cast without running out

Or you can use things like Leech Signet, Power Drain, ... to boost their energy again. Just link 'em to slow casters (Other Elemantist, Necro's, ...) and they'll (more or less) will be able to spam SF and this way you don't lose an Elite for Energy Management.

i just use the hero sabway build. Except I don't have 3 necros so I use my sousuke with AoE nukes and it pwns. I've gotten masters on every mission I've tried, NM or HM. I've vanquished areas with ease with another friend using the same setup. Pretty much I use sab wherever I go, and I'm happy with it
quit gw for good. end of story.

Open Skillset Menu, then click the Profession Tab, should give a list in which you can select Secondary profession combo's.

I don't know why everybody is sugesting SF but I think it isn't that good, considering you fight a lot of destroyers who are immune to burning.
This is what I use:
Me: regular SS with Pain Inverter (most awesome PvE skill ;))
Master of Whispers: Jagged Bones MM/support (with prot. Spirit, extinguish and Aegis)
Livia: Rit healer (I think it's better then a monk healer)
Vekk: Savannah Heat/Splinter Weapon support
Mhenlo
Cynn
Talon Silverwing
Devona
This team build has a very great damage output and a great survivability and requires no hero management. So far, I've been able to do all Asura, Vanguard and Norn quests in HM with only hench and heroes without difficulty.
Warior Princes Xena: Warrior lvl 20
Kamiko Princess: Elementalist lvl 20
Princes Adirill: Monk lvl 20
Il Little Ritu Il: Ritualist lvl 20
No Tears Please: Assassin lvl 20
Empress Keileena: Necromancer lvl 20

This is what I used for most of NM/HM, works very well. I tend to go melee-way (wor nec, rit, war heroes) with a combination of war (1 or 2), 1 monk (2 if hm), ele/nec/both henchmen.
Sab's WoR Necro: OAhiYwh8gtJeSzJ3wccWVTuA
Expel/Splinter/Arage Rit: OAWkMYhrITKj3Ejd9Gm6ueQcL5C
3rd: depending on area;
a) Jagged Bones: OANDUslfOL1qAeANUPCIVVBA
b) SF: OgVDMmy8O0txaTLD0DEAIDcB
c) Mind Blast: OgVDMoysO+5eByAXkB6B+CBA
d) Cautery Signet: OQGkUlls5gmTQ+BbhpxvFui7WeD
e) Warrior (not necessarily this bar, but i like it): OQUSEZJT9AjPSFQFViUF/ECA
^I hope that part made sense; that sentence at the start was badly worded, but too lazy to fix it.
But if you would like to use Vekk, Gwen, Talkora and Jora, here are some bars you should try:
Vekk: Mind Blast: OgVDMoysO+5eByAXkB6B+CBA
Gwen: (Honestly, I don't know what heroes run well on mesmers, but you could try something like this) OQNDAZwTOfgB3LID0D4aWA0I
Talkora: (Hybrid WoH; I don't have a hero ZB bar as I haven't bothered to try to make one since the update for their AI) OwAT04nCxRubzk7a9YTP9BA
Jora: Axe: OQUSEZJT9AjPSFQFViUF/ECA

i'm always switching heroes
but a team build i have been using lately is consists of:
MoW - MM with flesh golem, bone minions, masochism, SoLS
Tahlkora - ZB Prot Monk, make sure you don't take a res.
Ogden - WoH Hybrid with Heal party, dwaynas kiss, and a couple of prots.
(the skills i mentioned are staples, the rest don't really matter, however with the MoW, masochism only really works when he is blood of the master'ing)
as for the hench, i mostly take:
Zho - good for taking out Jotun Knockdowns, and water magic snares.
Mhenlo - not necessary, as the other two monks are good enough, i really only take him if i am doing missions with LOT'S of enemies.
Cynn - She is capable of alot, she seems to know when/where to use meteor shower.
Devona/Talon - DON'T take devona if your in the far shiverpeaks, as alot of monsters don't get knocked down. however, in areas such as charr homelands, she works wonders. take talon in all non-devona areas.
to replace mhenlo in areas with little monsters, take Herta, as sandstorm is a beautiful skill.
this is my usual team, got me through EotN fine.
hope it helps.
good luck to you :)

say hello to barbs on your ss (if you have a minion master)
anyway perhaps I should ask but I think I know. If your tanking and dragging your mm along by his short and curlys and have him agro mobs then aura of the lich, infuse condition and mystic regen probably the only way for it to last.
However if you are in a ranged roll swap in order of undeath for bigger hits. You know they don't use mystic regen like they should and you have to micro manage this from time to time. Personally I take jora because I need something with fast cold damage for my spinal shivers with minions getting killed all the time and a high sr energy is not an issue on spinal shivers. My hero choice would be useless to you possibly because I am looking to profs that compliment my skills. perhaps if your warrior or ranger a nice rit with some weapon spells add damage to attacks tht kind of thing might be good.

This is what I use a lot of the time
N/Rt
Curses 12+1+1
Soul Reaping 12+1
Spiteful Spirit
Reckless Haste
Enfeebling Blood
Insidious Parasite
Barbs
Rip Enchantment
Sig of Lost Souls
Death Pact Sig
N/Rt
Soul Reaping 12+1+1
Restoration Magic 12
Weapon of Remedy
Vengeful Weapon
Mend Body and Soul
Spirit Light
Protective was Kaolai
Life
Sig of Lost Souls
Death Pact Sig
Rt/N
Spawning 12+2+1
Death Magic 12
Boon of Creation
Explosive Growth
Animate Bone Minion
Jagged Bones
Death Nova
Blood of Master
Sig of Creation
Flesh of my Flesh
Thats the heroes I use most I'm sure a lot like Necros better as MMs but I've always like Rits better even when I'm playing my Necro and my Rit as MMs I like the Rit better. I then usually take the two monk henchies and a warrior and an ele.
I'm neither here nor there but everywhere. I am who I am and nothing more but yet I'm nothing less than what I strive to be.
