Does anyone have any experience with the combonation of Hearts of Holy Flame, Splinter Weapon, and Barrage?
I have been running a Splinter Barrager in PvE for months now and love it. Short recharge and putting it on henchy warriors kick arse at the beginning of a battle.
I am seeing more and more undead so I would like to convert my damage to Holy damage. Does Hearts of Holy Flame convert Splinter Weapon damage from physical to Holy?
The great thing about HoHF is it converts damage for 30 secs regardless of the lvl in Mysticism.
Double Damage is Double Damage.
Just for info I know this idea involves 3 professions. I will be putting HoHF or Splinter Weapon on a hero and have them cast it on me.

Heart of Holy Flame should convert the Holy. Even Judge's Insight would work. :) Though that is just one ally.

I'm not convinced. Splinter weapon does not affect the dmg output from your Barrage, it is a seperate effect, which causes lightning damage right? I think if you used HoHF then you would get holy damage on your barrage, but your splinter would remain lightning, as it doesn't change the dmg type done by your spells.
Not able to test that right now, but that's my take on it.

Heart of Holy Flame cannot be casted on another ally, only yourself. So you would have to go with Judge's Insight
Edit: Oooh but if you would put splint wep on hero it would work sori ^^.

Splinter Weapon is actually physical damage and maybe even piercing. But I'm sure its physical. Judges Insight or Heart Of Holy Flame wont change splinter weapons damage cause its a different package, like other posters said. Though the double damage and possible 20armor penetration is nice enough without splinter. Hope it helped ;)

Ok didn't know that, but it still doesn't change the fect that it comes from a different source. Your Attacks are changed to Holy damage, so Barrage becomes Holy, but Splinter Weapon isn't an attack, it's a reaction to your attack hitting something.
I guess the only real conclusion will be from testing it with a hero.
