Well personally I think it is a little to soon for this ubt hey who am I to argue.
Now that that is settled what greens are you going for?
I want to get:
Avarr's sceptor
Bastion of the Condemned
Aegis of the Condemned
Chaelse's Staff
Not that I think I will get the chance to get them all but I will still try. Good luck to all of you in your pursuits

Its actually happening after the same amount of time after release as the NF triple green weekend did.
In both cases, 21 days after release is when they both started.
Anyway, I dont have GW:EN, so good luck to all who will farm for greens.

well I guess I wil just go ramdom;y clearing areas cause if I sa the words " I AM GOING FOR this and this green the chance of me getitng it drops really bad" So I wont say what I want I jusr roam around the areasfor stuff . LMAO

well so far so bad :/
tried to a/e sliver avaar the fallen but for some reason he is only taking 6 damage (should be 26-30). the good new is that you can zone rightat frostmaw's and try again if you dont get the drop so i will get it eventually.
there are a couple in the cathdral of flames i want so if you want to pm eg i'll make a couple runs with you.
i already have murakai's reaver but i'd go for a few other items.

spear of the heirophant (i cant spell), its just one awesome skin :d well, i say i will go for ti, i am rly gunna go for gettign exploration titles maxed on my necro (5% more for all campaigns to max them, and then i got people know me :d), and i hope the increased drop rate will reduce the cost of them to within my range :d

Hm, interesting.
As far as I know in the Elite Dungeon chest there is only ONE green drop. If in a team of 8 person #2 got a Hierophant item then the rest will surely not get anything.
Or at least this is what experience shows.
Question: do bosses outside the dungeons drop triple? Likely. But do CHESTS drop triple as well? Tricky...a chest is not = a boss.
Boss drop outside dungeon is different than chest in dungeon. So I wonder what will happen.
I highly doubt 8 Murakai's Reaver can drop from the chest (of course, ultimate luck assumption) I think only 1 or 2 will drop but with a higher chance of those 1 or 2 to drop.

i have seen 2 green drops in the cathdral of flames before but they were different weapons. i am not sure but maybe the odds for getting an item are the same for everyone who opens the chest so that in theory you could get 8 reavers in one go. if that is the case and they increase the probablity of getting a green drop then the odds of getting 2 of the same green would increase.
fact is i don't know if the chest reward items are considered in this bonus weekend. might be a whole other weekend now.

dont think drops from chests will be affected. this means like 90% or even more of the valueable or useful greenies are out of 'weekend'. with the crazy amount of bosses total in eotn makes this weekend really 'not' usefull... oh well i might get in vortex of green farming, just bit dissappointed with how they treat unique items... it's maybe lots of uniques in eotn, but still no elemental longbow, and some classes' uniquest are really ... euhm... bad? :p (at least these non-chest) ones...
we got: 4 axes, 7 hammers, 3 swords, 1 shield (tactics), 1 flatbow, 2 hornbows, 1 longbow, 2 recurve bows, 2 shortbows, 6 monk staves/wands/offhands, 4 necro greens, 9 mesmer greens (woot?!), 11 ele greens, 2 dagger sets, 2 ritu greens, 6 paragon greens, 5 scythes...
looks cool? but keep in mind also many of them are dropped by boss like creatures in dungeons, so it prevents from grinding them like some nf/factions greens (more like sf ones i guess). still compared with amount that drops from chests ;/ it's a booo booo :p
anyways i can not only complain, but i'll make my chars's heroes get their greenies... this is just opportunity. i'd love some more 'surfaced' bosses in eotn tho....

i would but i wanna get this sword because it will replace my ebon dadao sword lol, im also gonna farm rocktail's stinger for me and my friends, haha.

Just completed Shards of Orr and the chest dropped no less than 3 green items.
Completed Cathedral of Flames with a full guild team and The Keeper dropped his scepter, the guildy it dropped for, knowing I was after it very kindly gave it to me. Definately my favourite skin, big thnx to Trin for letting me have it :)

yeah it is such a cool skin, now i gotta find a focus item that will do it justice...
doing a quick search i found a nightfall focus i've not seen before that would fit the bill nicely: spined focus

i posted above, it was actually the same exact time for this green event and the nightfall green event......21 days.
