ok..me and a group of friends, were going to think about making a short movie about guild wars. but we have not found any real animation program of good quality yet. so here is my question. is there any animation software out there that is of a good quality? if so please post it. and dont worry about my animation experience. i dont look it, but i am very experienced lol.so post please, if you know of a good animation software. and remember, its for movies, not games. ^_^

Animation as in?
You mean a recording program? Or an Editing program? It both falls under the big branch: Animation.

and niether to the post b4.............i need a rendering program lol. also a basic charachter animatron program. after that i might be able to clean it up with editing and stuff xd

Use......Fraps or GameCam to record ingame. :) Then use a program like MS MovieMaker to make the video. :)

Omigosh lol.....that is totally not what I mean XD Im talking about a movie.....look...like the one me and some friends made about archlord some time back XD this is what Im talking about XD. but ya....i need to find a program to do this exact same thing b/c i dont remember what he used. he is what got me into computers and stuff. and unlike 3d studio.....the one he used didnt take like 500 bajillion years to render lol. so i'm looking for somthing like that. hope that helps.

I used 3DS Max for all my stuff at uni. It's arguably the best of the bunch altho possibly not the best for character animation. For that i would suggest Maya.
Free demos of these can be found on their official websites but obviously full versions cost a fair bit.
But in terms of free animation packages i'm not sure. what did you use for that first video?

maya, photoshop, and somthing else, simmilar to 3ds max. i'm pretty sure.....but 3ds max takes sooooooooo friggen long to animate and all that. thats why im looking for somthing different. anyone? lol
EDIT: Oh...and it doesnt have to be free......I just dont want it taking me a year to make one scene like 3DS Max lol

if your good, try using adobe after effects.
right now. i us e that + wondertouch: particle ilussion.
i just fond out about it. its a neat program, to add effects and such..
