ok i have been trying different necro builds in pvp for my pve necro but not many builds fit my style.. i am wanting to make a necro that has a lot of damage over time or other damage spells (with death swarm in the spell list) and a secondary profession that is big on self healing…
i tried the monk but it doesn’t work to well for me cuz either u have to select yourself then cast the spell or u cast one that heals you, all party members, and all enemies in the area.

you can use the necro's blood renewal skill. or you can go mesmer secondary and use ether feast.

try a 55hp ss/sv build.
you can tank lots of enemies and solo almost everything :)

if selecting yourself is a problem while a monk, try using the f key. that targets yourself. (also, any monk skills that say target ally are cast on yourself as the default if you aren't targeting anything, or targeting an enemy.
