I just come back to play GW for the first time in 3 days and it seems to have been corrupted some how. I tried to re-install it but i get the blue screen of death.
Also, when i tried to open it the first time, it crashed and i got 3 or so messages come up and said that a few of my files (the only one i remember was my documents and settings) were also corrupted, though i see no problems atm with things apart from with GW.
Any help would be great... I have an addiction and i need a dose :( :P

hmm, so you reinstalled, maybe your graphics driver got corrupted? directx? if something is missing them something got deleted, see if you can write down what it exactly says, would be most appreciated.

hmm, seems i was slightly wrong, it's not just gw, i think it may be my pc in general. it seems to go to the blue screen every 5 mins now...
i'll update with what i can when i get it so you can help me better *crosses fingers*
edit 1: i have yet to find anything missing, just 'corrupted problems' and the blue screen.
i uninstalled gw *cries* and msn (latest download) and am now installing the latest direct x. no blue screens for a short while, thank god. if it continues on this cood a turn up i'll install gw. will keep u posted, might still need help if it starts up again.

this happened to me (well probably not the exact same thing), said my .dat file was corrupted. i tried to repair it, and it would stop in the middle of it every time and ask to send a report to a-net.
i ended up having to reinstall it, that seemed to fix it for me.
but yeah... what you have sounds like either a virus or something in your computer is turning to poo.
anyway, hope you can get it fixed soon man. i know your pain! >_<

My experience with a constant BSoD is in the end to re-install windows entirely. It is probably caused by a fault that occurs in your registry and causes drivers and dll's to intervere with each other and thus causes system failures.
I hope you can fix it soon.

Well, i completely removed all my GW folder from the pc and reinstalled directX. The BSoD has now stopped, it seems, tho if it does start up again after my re-download of the full GW game (at 112k files left atm) then i'll get my dad to reset windows. Thanks for the help and suggestions guys it was appreciated :D

Yeah, I had the exact same problem with my now old lappy. It occurred after installing new drivers also. I've been away from GW and GA cause I was so frustrated. I couldn't find my recovery disc, which upped my anger level. Luckily my wife surprised me with a new lappy, which runs my few games 1000% better now.
