My guildies and myself have been trying to get through this quest and have not been able to get it done. Does anyone have any suggestions? Would like a hero henchie combo. We have tried several methods including bonding and tanking to no avail.

i have had several problems with this as well if your goin with guildes you will have heros so take near enough a full smite party but take a w/mo who can smite and tank that way he can take aggro and the others can move in once he got the aggro, i was using signet of judgement bansish bane sig and mystric wrath but you can use any smite skills apprantly ray of judgement works real well.
the end was the easiet i found make sure you got cond removal i took a rc prot really helped at the end.
plus dont forget get your tank to use corners where possable
remebr smite does double dmg so if you having a tankin war aoe dmg is good on him
due to constant blindess i foudn melee dmg was pointless ow ever i would still advise a bha ranger if poss

retribution on the war is good aswell i think. just let him cast it on himself, he wont need much energy because of the signets anyway.

i've done it with heroes and hench last week i think...was hard because i didn't have "the best" build.
what you need to do, is to bring smite monks (since the enemy is undead and you'll deal a lot more damage) and you should be fine.
hope this little hint helps.

not impossible but very hard.
like they said smiteing a good start. you still need good monks and good aggro control.
in addition to smiting i found the biggest advantage was having a warder withthe following wards
ward of stability - prevents the shock aftershock combo that really hurts
ward against elements - helps with all the aoe
ward against melee - obvious here
then top it off with some earth aoe or take ward against harm and maelstrom for interupts
a warder really take the pressure off quite a bit and the smiters put it on them.
good luck

well; the dungeon has the difficulty 'master' for a reason ;p
i did it recently with a few guildies with a 'regular' teamsetting; 3 monks a rit; 2 necros; 1 ele and 2 rangers. it was not easy but we managed very well.
i do however believe that this is not the kind of dungeon for pugs and henchway. you need to have people who know how to use teamplay and know what they are doing. if not; yea... then the dungeon can become near to impossible.
necromancer all the way
