just a heads up to all that intend to purchase the gw special edition of pc gamer, check the mag before you buy it. i went to wal-mart last night to pick up a copy...and went to show my wife the destroyer mini pic in the mag...someone had ripped the code out. checked the only other copy...they ripped most of the code out. so, check it before you buy it.

all the pc gamer mags at the store closest to me are in a plastic wrap. most of the gamer mags are.

the only ones in plastic are the ones that come with cd/dvds. the pc gamer gw edition doesn't have a cd/dvd so it isn't. i agree that it should be though. all it really takes is someone with a pencil and paper to jot them down and head home :p

Assuming it isn't torn out, there is also a number to call PC Gamer if the code doesn't work. (Someone else wrote it down and used it.)
But I also must admit I grabbed mine from the back and made sure the page was still there.

luckly we dont have alot of gammers at we i went to get eh mag cause there were like 6 issues none used and i got 2 of them should bought the outher 4 lol

Atleast you can sell em now for a ridiculous price i guess, same as buying gold from that money, just more legal in Anet's PoV.

i totally agree. that's why i got mine from a un-opened box the store had. yay!
the stupid thing is that i bought 2, but the game only lets me put 1 code in.
grrr...

mrs. da bleeah picked up 2 copies for me at a walmart close to our house (said there were about 15 total) after i failed to find any at target, walmart or albertsons near work today on my lunch break.
i'll be adding one to each of my accounts, and if for w/e reason i really don't like it (as absurd as that sounds, i mean, that's just crazy talk right there) i can use party search [p], trade drop-down. :)
p.s. for any1 not in the u.s., i have a 3rd storage acct, that if necessary i can score another copy of pc:g for somebody, activate the key, then trade the mini in-game. (similar offer as before when the issue with the gray giant or asura were available), pm here or whisper me in-game in about 5hrs.
p.p.s. is it illegal to scan the magazine guide or articles (like to .pdf) and post it?

i might be wrong as to which site, but i saw either on the gw site or the pcg site that one can send a check or money order or call them to order a copy. that is what i am going to do just to make sure that noone has written down the code in case the stores near me dont have them in plastic wrap. all the mags i got were in plastic wrap thingies..i'm going to check out the stores in the near future to see if they are wrapped up, if not, i'm sending moolah to them.
