and now, the end is near;
and so vent faces the final curtain.
my friends, ill say it clear,
ill state my case, of which im certain.
it's lived a life thats full.
it's traveled each and every highway;
and more, much more than this,
vent's going, dont say nooooo waiiiii
yeah, i'm sorry - on the 29th september 2006 i purchased the vent server for gameamp to use at their will with a one year license. i would really like to keep it going but unfortunately, i've kinda...got no money to keep it for a year. so as of the 29th september, the amp vent server will be closed...forever.
i'm so so sorry.

btw: hi! to anyone that remembers me! how y'all doing? missed gw loads and very very tempted to return...but meh..cba tbh lol

that much? i do hope its best best best quality available for that price, jeez. besides, in the end, it's not like its impossible to setup your own temporary one, which you can shift along as people come and go that also know the trick, cause imho, unless your all a bunch of general-chat voip users, any party member for a mission that requires it can be taught that little trick xd
atleast you can say you invested in amp :p

it's been great of you to have the server for this long, it's been very useful for ha, elite missions and random chatting alike. i'm sure that all of the other gameamp members will join me in saying a big thank you for the server! cheers, oli! ;-)

only if gw had it's own in game voice-over-ip, then it would be awesome!
i think wow just came out with a patch that does that.

and yes, wow did implement an ingame chat, it works wonders. i'm kinda hoping that gw comes up with something similar.

guild wars voip would be awesome. i would go to ha and not have to minimize my game and put in a ton of numbers and dots.

no thanks. i prefer ventrilo. team speak has bad voice quality and ventrilo is a lot more user friendly nad easier to navigate through.

really? i've hated vent ever since it crashed my comp because it didn't like having fl studio on the same registry :p
but, ts is free hosting, and easy hosting too ^_^;
