i had a question about the ipod. what does the "i" part stand for? 'cause ive seen a few merchantdise with the "i" in front of it. does it really mean anything or..?

i dont think so does the the x in xbox stand for something the i in the other products usually means it is ment to b used with the ipod

no idea, tried to wiki it lol, but couldn't find anything of it.
as he mentioned, probably just like the x in xbox.
but it seem '' i '' has had a greater impact on the market, e.g:
ipod
icamera
idog
icomputer
just google a bit, if its a word in the vocabulary, add an " i " and you got yourself a product.

It could be a marketing thing,
where they put a random letter there like the i in ipod, people start to ask questions about it then do some reseach about it and start to learn about the product and then see that it is a good product
nintendo did the same when they brought out the Wii, people started talking about what a silly name it had and by doing that they brought more of the media's attention to it. and this helped them becoz the xbox was coming out as well.
in words its all about promotion buisness (maybe, its just an idea)

Yeah, anyone with a one day a week part-time job could afford this incredably L337 item.
It's atleast great for annoying people with it, or just providing some background noise.

i got oen of thoes robo dogs at my house you know yo ucan program it and stuff what a big waste of money unlike the idog. lol

don't tell me its an aibo, if it is, you got too much money on your hands, waaaay too much, besides, that thing doesn't even have fur to make a carpet from when its being annoying :(
get a real dog, and get a stick, when it lies on the ground, make it usefull by poking the dog with the stick and then dragging it around the room, works great as a duster :)

not sur what it was called all i know i got for xmas one yr and it justt barks and i think it moves but i could be wrong .and at work i have seen the robosoares or whatever it was called.i think that it was never bought cause it never worked,
