soo now we see what db and wp looks like i like the blades makes me want to cry lol i think they should have been thicker but oh well cant wait to try them out
very cool looking blades. i have to agree with what some others said about wp though, i was kinda hoping for something with very little in the line of graphics.
yeah i think even SR has a bit much in the way of graphics, and thought that WP (not you, Warron, Will Power) would be like SR just around the person's head or something.

The first is the activation of the tier 9, the second is the activation of a toggle, and the third is a random pulse that occurs to let us know toggles are active. Apparently, 95% of the time we'll have very low graphical effects. They can't cut them out completely, because some players need an effect to know what they have active.

Issue #11 for City of Heroes/City of Villains looks to be a very promising and exciting update for players. Not only can players expect new story lines and stuff to do at level 50, but there are also two new power sets being introduced for the Melee Archtypes. Willpower will be more of a defensive power set, while Dual Blades - the second - will be offensive in nature.
Just thought that some expanded i11 stuff could be cool to see. As for my "ultra fast", i know i saw it somewhere, i just dont know where. I'm stupid like that.

i'm torn. i really want to try the dual blades, but at the same time, i really don't want to be one of the hundreds of people trying to get kills in the newbie zones as they level their swordies :p
ha that really made me laugh. yeah the blades look a bit flimsy and the stance the people are standing in seems a bit rigid. i thought more along the line of the really cool blades from the new ninja gaiden game. but no, they went with the whole pointed piece of metal look.
i like them a lot actually. ive wanted some sort of rapier set for a while, because i like sword characters but almost none of my ideas are big blundering broadswordsmen or katana/ninja themed. this is a good scrapper type of sword, while to me broadsword seems like more of a tanker kind.

i agree in theory but i just think they look very bland. i think that in the same way that broadsword looks a lot less epic than katana due to the gold trim on katana, dual blades follow suit and look rather unadorned. i wish they'd given us rapiers, i.e. with the nicely designed wrist-guard et al.

cause heros shouldnt kill their foes.
that's why most weopnwielding heroes use blunt weapons.
(daredevil, gambit,...)
why don't we get a hammer, nunchakus, bo staffs or arnis sticks?
and i so hope for some better hand to hand fightingstyles.
superstrength is to much hulk and martial arts is tu much ryu&ken.
i want some fightingstyles to play spiderman, batman, magnus, buffy.
no more xenas, kill bill chicks, elrics or drizzts.

I will PVP crush and decimate all Drizzit Do'Urdens I come across in a pvp zone, hero or not...*rolls eyes heavenward pleadingly* God save me from the headache. I really had enough Drizzies from other online rpgs. I could not swing a dead cat without hitting at least 4 of them. Good way to peeve them off in PVP is call em drizzle doo'unders *evil cackle*

tried energy melee? its all punches. or electric melee? and as for the fighting like batman and them, i think martial arts covers them pretty well.
