hi,
ive been playing city of heroes for a while now. i found out 3 days back that my account had been blocked. so had my master account. i mailed support and after at least 10 replies they finally told me my account had been banned due too multiple subion chargebacks. i had made a new master account and i have been playing on the us servers for 1 month, so i was still playing on the one free month you get from buying the game. i checked with my bank and they said everything is in order. soooo i called support and since they were so helpful the guy told me just to reply to the mails. absolutely no help. i then mailed support again at least 4 times and still havent got a reply. i cant even change my billing to another check card or a time card because plaync blocked my master account. i just wanted to know whether this has ever happened to anyone else. im clueless as to what i should do. im probably gonna call support on monday again. has this ever happened to anyone else?

no i am glad to say that hasn't happened to me. i'm sorry to hear you're having such troubles with ncsoft. so what exactly did they ban you for? have you tried telling them that you want the card removed from that account? they may not be allowing you to access your account but they may well remove the card for you which you could then use on the new account. always ask to speak to the person's superior if they won't do what you tell them to. it isn't just used as a scare-tactic the manager may actually know a bit more about how the system works and i've always found them a lot more helpful. probably because they've got more to lose if they mess their job up.

hey
thanks for replying.
yup i can get capitals too.
im gonna take your advice and call them on monday. plaync banned my coh account and my master account which is as good as telling me too **** off. well anyways thanks for the help:p.

That's what we're here for friend, I am just a little surprised no-one else has thrown in their two cents or even offered support of any kind. It makes our community look really bad so I apologise on everyone's behalf. I wish you luck with your endeavour to get your account back!

remember these words, they'll help when dealing with customer dis-service reps.
unacceptable.
dissatisfied.
let me speak with your supervisor.
those work in almost every line of telephone based customer service. (i worked in the field for many years before getting into bartending full time)

i got a mail from them this morning and they were sooooo nice.
"thank you for your reply.
you have made multiple chargebacks of subion payments for your city of heroes account. when you make a chargeback, this returns the money you have paid to the card used, and also places additional costs upon ncsoft. therefore both your game account and your plaync master account have been permanently banned. it will not be able to access these again, and we are not able to assist you further.

you say you have spoken with your bank. then if that is true they should be able to give you information about these supposed charge backs. if the charge backs were done they will bill you leaving a record of the transactions. if you didnt authorized these charge backs then the bank is where you should begin to clear things up. once you have determined the situation about the charge backs, if you feel that the bank was in error then make copies of the necessary documents showing the errors and forward them to ncsoft and see if that will bring things to a satisfactory conclusion. it has been known to happen that banks all too frequently make mistakes.

I'll try that. I checked with support and even if I clear everything out with my bank, my plaync master account and game accounts are permanently blocked irrespective of what the bank says now. So basically Ive lost all my alts and ...
THAT SUCKS.

yea this has happened to me before, i gave up after tryin to talk to them for about 2 and a half months well, all i can say is keep tryin till someone, if anyone listens
