i just picked up a stealth io for flight, freebird. my question is that in the effect it says that it lasts for 120 seconds when placed on an instant click power...does this mean that when i activate the flight power, i am stealthy for 2 minutes and then not, or is it like super speed, where you have an innate steath that is on for the duration of the power?

stealth is one of the best io's out there. i had this on my scrapper and i would click fly before jumping into a fight, and this would let me get the first hit in usually. i never really flew that long, but when i did, it seemed that you were stealthed for just two minutes. if you fly for just a minute, you're stealthy for another minute. remember, though.... you are stealthy...not invisible. get too close, and they will see you. i think it still adds the defense bonus regardless. like i said...it helps to click fly on and then off just before a fight. try it and see if you like it.

its on for the duration, and 120 seconds after powering it off.

this is the way they work for any of the stealth ios.
toggle power: (flight, superspeed, hover, sprint, etc...): stealth lasts while the power is toggled on and for 120 seconds afterward it's de-clicked.
click power: (elude, inertial reduction, siphon speed, speed boost (?)): stealth works for 120 seconds after the power "lands".
passive power: (swift, hurdle, quickness) stealth is always on. be very careful with this. although it sounds real nice at first, it makes hostage missions tricky.

my favorite is the teleport one, its cheapest because the fewest # of travelers use it, and just tp once and you are stealthy for 2 mins. this is great with Shadow Fall, because it makes invis, and even works in PVP.

you can no loneger slot any stealth ios in passive movement powers. this was changed shortly after ios were introduced.
