hahahahahahahah i finally got it! the collectors edition of halo 3 and the guide, is mine! i love this world!!! its sooo awesome, if you hav an xbox360 buy this game! if u dont have this game, buy a 360 today!

no offence intended, but i hate first person shooters. i never understood people's obsession with these types of games.

im with ron on this one....hate first person shooters. theyre so boring. i think my favorite game of all time (and im a young un' so dont make fun...) is Xmen Legends. it was my first videogame, i got it in like 9th grade, its awesome. ive replayed it a lot and got XML 2 and Marvel Ultimate Alliance, which is a very close second to XML 1. :)

i do enjoy fps's,. . but only on the pc.
being an old school quake 1, unreal tournament fan i love the creativity these games bring once they release the source code and amatuer developers come in and make their own mods, weapons and level's (ive fought in an on scale recreation of alcatraz in a quake deathmath board to the evil dead cabin and your like 6 inches to scale, to a capture the flag game in an adult video store in ut2k3 also being 6 inches high)
the custom weapons i've seen absolutely rock. in unreal tournament i've seen someone take the uber kill everything-in-one-shot weapon the redeemer get turned into the insane weapon called the strangelove. a missile the player could actually get on and ride throughout the map. (they go yehaw when they get on it too lol) whoever they ran down with the missile got killed instantly, but it could be shot out from under them, killing them instead. games like counterstrike actually evolved from i believe the half life games being modded and evolved into something larger than life.
i cant state enough how much i love the creativity of pc first person shooters, i guess thats why i never liked them for consoles. console games only have a few modes of play, their maps and weapons are too limited for my tastes, and after a few weeks the nostalga wears off and i find myself selling the game. that and i never was able to adapt from fighting via keyboard to a regular controller. too hard for me to seriosly look around and it's hard to jump when you want to evade real quick. after a while in ut2k4 i found myself driving halo vehicles modded in their assault game modes. when the day comes that a console fps can match the creative level that the pc fps'rs have been enjoying without having to pay through the nose to play it, maybe one day i'll go back.

My parents are making me pay for the majority of a 360 (for when i get it) and am thinking of taking a break from CoH for awhile and putting that money towards it, I know its not much but it is still pushing me towards it, that and a discount at where i work along with a target red card and got a chunk knocked off it. Also selling my old xbox, along with a bunch of games, shouldnt be that long before i get one, aiming towards elite but if i cant, just gonna get core :)

honestly, all fps likes/dislikes aside... this game has a fantastic story. far beyond most games (assuming you play halo 1, 2, then 3). it really is phenominal. also, halo 3 has a mode called forge where you are able to play basically as a gm for a multiplayer map. you can add/remove/drop items/weapons/vehicles all while playing in real time. its amazing to set up a multplayer battle (which you can also participate in, in addition to playing the spark). but i do enjoy fps's as well, this one is just the best one by lightyears.

i'm with ron on this one. played fps games from doom when it first came out (the original), quake, quake ii, etc. all the way to half life. gave them all an equal chance, all they gave me was a headache. i much prefer city of heroes.

Well I got the legendary edition with master chiefs helmet so haha back at you...by the way I'm confused with the forge options so can someone help me with my questions if you understand it decently well.

i have absolutely no interest in getting the xbox 360 or to get any of the halo sieres of games. i would rather get a ps3 so i can continue to play the rpg games (mainly final fantasy saga). the only game that i liked on the xbox was fable and that was awfully short.
