i have been playing the game for a year now and no one on the game will tell me where to find the hall of heros. so, can someone please tell me where to find it?

had the same problem as u have now ;)
the hall of heroes is a pvp event.
go to heroes ascent (on the pvp islands) and find a group there.
first you have to fight a npc group, this will give you a morale boost according how fast u defeated them.
then you move on to the next event, against other players from the same continent. this may happen a couple of times ;)
when you won everything, you get to the hall of heroes.
here you have to fight 2 other groups from different continents. when you win this you will get some fame and it will display in the chat all around the world ;)

true, but the first time i did this. we made it in one go to the hall of heroes. we didn't won, but it was fun for my first time ^^

this is definately harder then these guys make it out to be. i got to halls 3 times and won only once, and i have 218 fame. the one time i did win was at 3am in the morning with a r5+ group and it was total insanity. dont try ha unless you have crazy determination and are willing to take a bunch of people yelling "n00b!!!!1" at you. but if you are gunna go for it, good luck mate.

unfortunately, a lot of this is correct. some regular ha'ers have en 'elitist' bee in their bonnet that unless you get past the zaishen with 10% mb, or if you lose one match, or if one of your healers lets someone die too easily, (or something else similar to that (ridiculous in my opinion)), they will simply leave the team, also known as rage quitting.
this, along with many people looking for ranked players, can make it extremely difficult for new comers to get started in ha. it took me months to get my rank 3, and it wasn't always a pleasant experience. lots of leavers, grievers, and just plain 'ol selfish gamers.
if you really want to get started with ha, i'd strongly suggest going with your guild or a team of friends who you know won't just leave as soon as you make a mistake.
