hello again,
im having a spot of trouble and was wondering if anyone can offer any advice,
'the problem':
when i launch gw's it opens up the window from which it loads all the files etc and connects to a-net, but where it should do this for some reason today mine will not it is stuck at connecting to a-net and is not/will not connect
what ive tried:
ive tried the basic uninstall/reinstall option hoping it would fix the problem but that was a bad idea due to the fact it not wont install for me because again it opens the window and is not/will not connect to a-net
so if anyone else is experiancing this problem or can throw me a few suggestions it wil be appreciated
thanks

this sounds like a routing issue, check your firewall isn't blocking gw as that's a common problem.

weak/slow connection? do you have: dsl/cable/dialup? are you running wireless or wired?
thats really all i can think of, i would sometimes that anet could have blocked your ip address because you did something wrong but why would they need to do that tp you, you didnt do anything wrong...right? :)

this does'nt relly help but the same thing happened to me a few months ago, i could'nt connect and this went on for a couple of days, when i could re-connect it would'nt give me accsess to my warrior, this lasted for four or five days during which time i emailed a-net about five times only to get (eventually) the reply that it was a known issue and they were addressing it, i did get my warrior back after about five days with no harm done but it was very frustrating,to say the least i was not immpressed, i hope your problem is solved sooner.gl

as sure as you are it isnt your firewall, please try:
1. turn off any firewall completely (temp just to test)
2. turn off any antivirus/antispyware... (temp just to test)
3. Take a little pin find the small hole on the back/front of your router push it in and hold for about 30 seconds to resert it if 1+2 didn't help
4. if you have another computer at the house, try from there just to rule out the operating system as a cause
good luck
