im actually having a little trouble taking him down. no one needs to do it so im doing it with h/h. any suggestions on what i should set them up with? they keep siting in the fire and dying :|

i did it with h/h, all i did was take 3 sandstorm ele's, inc me, an interupt mes, and some other dudes, flagged them all to the exact smae spot and i just spammed heal area, let the hench do all the work for me :) took him down pretty quick, and he didnt submerge himself for some reason, maybe i just got lucky, but give it a go

take 3 monks with party heals and buffs like extinguish, heal party and aegis, take pain inverter from teh asuran skills and try and avoid interrupts... it isn't that hard. breath of the great dwarf helps too. other than that, a nec with spoil victor is good too.

I've heard bring 2 LoD monks, 2 touch rangers, degen etc.
Guild Wiki has some tips i think.
Approving guides since November 2007.

i havn't ever fought him.
but i would say try out an bha ranger ?
and then the illusion henchmen..he got some interupt too.
this will interupt his healing and the fire spell (i just got some info from wiki..)
hope this can help..just a lil bit :)

if you interrupt him he'll use a skill which does more damage then any other skill he has (enrage or something)

hmm doing it as a wa/ne my advise might still work you can still use grenths ballance if necro is your secondary read it max out your health... take allot of damage and "cilit bang the mess is dramatically reduced in hp" other must haves for this mission are pain inverter and umm well yeah touch rangers cant be bad didnt use them when i did it.
