| If I buy a cov game key... |

If I get a cov game key, can I upgrade my current plaync.com account with that key and have the 30 days play credit to use toward city of heroes?? I have no time on my account now, so if I do this, can I play with only that cov game key/30 day or do you I need to enter at least 2 or 3 months worth of time to activate the account again.
any help would be great,

No, the 30 days credit only applys to one game first activation. Howver, it will not add an extra monthly fee, it will add up to only one acount.

Err...I'm almost 100% certain that if you upgrade your CoH account with a RETAIL version of CoV, it will give you the 30 days. You can't use a trial, as I understand it, but the retail should work just fine.

can anyone else confirm this? Basically what I want to do is buy a cheap cov game key, add it to my plaync.com account and hope it works and gives me the 30 days which can be used to play city of heroes as well.

Yes sir. If you add a new CoV to your current CoH account, it will form into a 'CoX' account, AND give your first 30 days free.
