Hey guys I have searched the net high and for the City of Heroes Character Creator. This URL is dead http://download.coh.co.kr/Client/CCC_Setup.exe
Does any one have it and could post it some where, pretty please?

Last I heard it was banned in America so pretty much noone has it.
I think I had it once but it was really out of date, like I2. And it was all in Japanese.

I found the fallowing from a post below that will show it in English.
(it's from CoH Korea) and then apply this hack to convert it from Korean to English:
* Open the Registry Editor -- Start, Run, regedit (for XP, I think W2K users want regedt32 instead)
* Go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER, Software, Cryptic, KRCOH
* In the right-hand pane, double-click and change the Locale value to 0
* In the left-hand pane, right-click on KRCOH and select Permissions
* Click Advanced, then Add
* Type 'Everyone' (no quotes) and hit OK
* Tick Set Value for "Full Access" - Deny
* Click OK, Yes, OK, and close the editor.

What it is (or was) is a 'Standalone' Character Creaton proggie made as a Promotional Tool for the launch of City of Hero; the Korean version of City of Heroes. It is basically the CC from City of Heroes but as was stated it did not have all the costume options available to CoH (and no Villains stuff at all). It was quaint to say the least in that it allowed you to build the physical look of your character and then pose it with a menu of some of the ingame emotes and take screenshots of it.
Additionally, it was not connected to the Online game (even the Korean one) so you could not 'port' your offline creations into the game. It was originally hosted on the Korean NCsoft Site, but was essentially banned (sorta) to US/Euro users. A few public Sites carried it for a very short time until they received either a 'Cease and Desist' order from NCsoft, or just 'got with the program' and took it down.
Like I said; it was a nice lil proggie, but essentially Barbie & Skipper's Hero Paper Dolls: CoH Issue 4 Version (not a ton of costume options).

Also alot of the reason they pulled it was the flexibility it had in making existing and Copyrighted heroes both Marvel and DC. Cryptic was slapped with a cease and desist from Marvel who claimed infringement, lost there suit and instead put them to work to bring out marvel's forthcoming superhero MMO. (If you can't beat em -HIRE THEM-)
One other perk the Character creator had was the ability to put your designed character thru thier paces with an emote engine.< A feature I wish the U.S. version had included >
Sadly gone the way of the dodo... the reason I know so much about it was an unending quest to obtain the program thru deligent webseach (alas my web-fu was weak) and even most P2P programs are helpless to find it. your only shot is to find a private person who has it and is willing to share.
Hope anyone attempting to find it has better luck than I.

I've had that program for five minutes. It was worse than anything you could imagine. Don't download it. Seriously. It's worth crap.

Question now is, are we talking about a Character Creator where you can plan and design your characters' powers and level, etc?
Or are we talking about a Costume Creator, which is a program identical to the costume creator in game when making a new char or going to the Tailor?
