I have recently heard and been told by someone that makes games for the PS3 currently that the PS4 will be coming out in round about 2010-2011.
They Currently have made the device 3 to 5 times faster, sony and IBM have been working on the new technology also will resolved and reduced overheating factors in the current PS3
To anyone That likes to know about recent leaked info

meh rumors are rumors, its a forum and thanks for sharing! I didnt hear this one yet but to be honoest it doesnt surprise me that they would be pushing out a new console but to be honest it seems stupid considering ps3 is technically the most advanced counsel now as it is.

But to be honest Microsoft and Nintendo are out making new games for their current successful consoles while Sony is trying to wow people with yet another POS. Errr, I mean PS. =D

All I see Sony to do is making good graphics. Though some crowds go for Anime, Most go for FPS, Mario, and others are located more around Xbox 360 and Wii.

I'm strictly PC so I don't know much about this, but it doesn't surprise me. PS3 is pretty advanced yet the games DO seem to lack..at least from what I hear.

And yet again, you have no proof or any backing to your claim of any kind.
And even if you had seen such a document it would still be subject to change as technology and the market change over the years. I'm willing to believe they have plans to have it finished in 2010 or something, but giving technical details about the finished product is just plain bullshit.

Exactally why do you feel the need to go there Psychobunny? Forget to take your meds today? Leave the poor PS fan alone.
But then again, you are labeling yourself as "psycho".
I like these little spoilers that pop up from time to time. Even though I've pretty much given up on my console games. Halo 3 is just killing me. I just can't justify the cost of buying the X-Box 360 just for that game when I'm hooked so hard on my PC games now. I've always like the more mature themed games of the Playstation series, bot X-Box has come up to speed nicely IMHO.
Maybe one day they will pull me away from the PC. Only time will tell.

I feel the need to go there because I don't believe in rumors that aren't backed up by any form of evidence. Oh, and "yes, it is true" isn't an argument unless you somehow show proof of what you claimed.
"I know a guy who has a cousin who has a friend at Sony and he says the ps4 is coming out five years from now" isn't a very accurate claim, especially since it's still years away and release dates are never set in stone.

I respect anyones option its just when u do what i do and know the people in the field of computers i am involved in you get to know that the things you get told are not lies.
I have Also recently been told you may be able to find info about this if you goggle it . please by all means have a look and let me know.
I would just like to point out as well that my job deions are as follows: Games Tester/Developer, Server/System Administrator, Programmer/Technical support etc etc.

I wanted to post something here before I never got around to when I got my account back.
I wanted to say that it is possible for Sony to have a PS4 out by then. I have heard these rumors before and figured why not? Sony made a slim a couple years after the PS2 might as well make a new system a few years after their plop. I thought about buying a PS3 about a month ago but when I began to research I noticed; why buy one? PS4 will have the same features with the same games but gonna cost more and be with more graphics. So I am just gonna save up my money and stand in line for a week like all my friends did. BECAUSE I WILL BE IN COLLEGE THEN! BOOHYEAH!
Bored as snot with nothing to do. As I sit here writing this down I noticed something cool, I have no life, which just excited me so much; I jumped off my chair screaming WOOT! Then my back, legs, arms and stomach started hurting and I sat back down "Dang I need to go exercise." I finished writing this down and started surfing the web again.

But then they will be planning PS5 and you could just wait for that one!!!
Sony is just trying to get people to stick with em' by saying 'Wait, were making another POS... I mean, PS!!!' And while their at it, Nintendo and Microsoft are raking in the money's with their successful consoles.
Save some money, get a 360 or a Wii. =]

I got a Wii and its lame because I have a bigscreen TV. Sooo only half my tv works with the sensor lol. But an Xbox is the same price as the PS3 at my store and thats excluding the dvd player and some of the extras plus the price of the online pay. I really can't afford all of that so I was just going to get a PS3 since I know alot of people who actually have one. But hey, by the time the PS4 comes out I won't have to save any money up as long as I don't spend it lol.

No, thats why there is a wrist strap on there. It's pretty hard to have it fly away when its on there. =]

Im not sure how big mine is... but I know its pretty big and the Wii works fine on it. Make sure the sensor bar is in the middle of the screen and to specify to the Wii if its under or on top of the TV.

LMAO. Thats why the game tells you, 'When bowling, let go of the BUTTON, not the CONTROLLER. lol
