can sum 1 help me cos some things on guild wars such as armor weapons stuff like that are all shiny and not like they should be

Jump from your resolution or gfx setting to another and back to your original hopefully the change in gfx would reset the problem....

Go to video options and turn down the GAMA
see if that works.

First try turning down the quality settings under the Graphics tab. Next thing is to make sure your system meets the minimum requirements (These are the Nightfall requirements, factions and Prophecies are lower)
- Intel Pentium III 1 GHz, or equivalent
- 512 MB RAM
- 3 GB Available HDD space
- ATI Radeon 8500 or GeForce 3 Series video card, with 64 MB VRAM
- Internet connection
Next thing to try is updating DirectX and/or your video card driver or at least check to see if they are up to date.

Try taking off the reflections as shown in fig.1
