Whenever I'm playing pvp or hero battles or anything like that i have a hard time staying alive. I have some healing spell but they just drain my health too quick. please I need advide on staying alive better.

First off, WELCOME TO GAMEAMP!
Second, best healing is self-healing. Never rely on PuG monks to heal you. As a A/D, try putting some points into Earth Prayers and use mystic regeneration. Cheers!

ok ill exactuly give you some good advice un;ike the other guys this might help
ok,first do uuse mystic regenration some entchants u might want to use are:nvm ill just give u an sueriour ownage d/w build here it is:
stats:
tactics 3
myctisim 12
sythe mastery 12
skills are:
1.wild blow
2.victorious sweep
3.chilling victory
4.watch yourself
5.faithful intervention
6.watchful intervention
7.heart of fury
8.avatar of balthazar
this build will not only keep you alive but deal great amounts of damage

On my monk I run:
SoR
Guardian
RoF
SoA
Dismiss Conditions
GoLE
Divine Spirit
Deny Hexes
As for your other two chars, I'd use a complete split char, like an E/D or R/P. If you want those builds, they're easy to find somewhere.
Then for your character, run something aside from a Dervish.

i think its not his leetedness, its his uber adiction to pvp that gets everyone thats not used to UbAr pvp confused about what he said. personally i have no f-ing idead what he said ^_^ and cant be bothered to figure it out :P lazyness ftw

How was my advice bad? Dodging projectiles and kiting prevents a ton of damage best way to prevent damage is for no one to hit you.

I find that wat u actually do counts as another skill. I laugh as someone stand out the middle of a field, waiting to be picked off by a ele, or ranger. hide behind sumthing before u make ur move. No point of taking damage becuz ur too lazy to move 5 feet. But if u still require a healing skill, i recommend a short casting spell. even a 2 second spell is too long :O

wat the hell is UbAr seriously. eg. "I think he is uber noob, yer he is UbAr, really UbAr lol, haha that was so uber funny". wats the difference?
Btw you dont learn skills from only pvp, i think theres something called PvE too ya know?
As for the topic, most Avatars are good, and maybe go with some earth magic for Mystic Regeneration.

Or you can just change char
Take a Monk or an ele
monk just healing skills
ele take D as second prof and mystic reg. with you
lots of enchants and 10pipe heal
or just find a nice bonder
always easy if you have a nice guild

People, he states that he is a D/W and you are giving him a bunch of monk spells. You need at least 3 enchantments on you.

The key to staying alive is understanding the metagame. When I first started doing RA I was getting owned. I sat back and said the same thing as you - how do I stay alive. The answer was a little different for me though. It wasn't so much how to self heal but instead how to prevent damage, or at least discourage it. So, since at the time the big thing was assasin chains, I made an anti-melee build based around making it painful for them to attack and difficult for them to complete a chain (used distortion). It didn't blind them but instead caused a serious amount of damage each time they hit.
So now consider this - what is it that is doing all the damage to you? Spike type spells, melee, degen and ask yourself how can you prevent some of this while at the same time adding value to your skill bar. In other words a TANK in RA is useless so pick skills that can help out your team. For example shouts can both increase your armor and your teams.
Mystic regen is a great skill for dervs and has a short recharge so even if it is stripped you can get it right back up.

Not everyone does. I've played GW for over 2 years now and I still get confused by some of the acronyms that are used. I think that anytime you are replying to help someone like this, you should spell everything out the first time and give the acronyms with it. That way everyone knows what you're talking about and then they'll also know the acronyms for later use so that you can short hand without confusing them :P.
Back on tpoic, my advice is to put some points into Earth Prayers and take some self preserve heals like Mystic Regeneration, Signet of Pious Light, and Vital Boon. Cheers ^_^
Edit: On a side note, I work in an x-ray department. A lot of acronyms are used there. Let me give you some and see if you can get them:

UGI/SB
Kinda hard to figure it out if you've never heard of them before or have heard of them and no one ever took the time to explain it eh? This is what it's like for some GW players. Don't assume they automatically know what everything means. Like I said, I've played for over 2 years and still get confused on some of this stuff. Just be a little more understanding next time and explain stuff to the people who need it :P.

if u're gonna go play RA or whatever u're planning to do with ur dervish in pvp PLEASE for god sake don't bring ALL THOSE ENCHANTS THAT ALMOST EVERY SINGLE DERVISH BRINGS (they all fail at guild wars) ~~
do u want to hear what i've seen so far? i've played arenas for over 2 years now and 8/10 dervish i've seen in my arena life ALWAYS have the following enchants ---> vital boon,faithfull intervention and mystic regeneration. then they just go on balth form and spam chilling and mystic sweep.. and then they drop dead and fail coz all they do is keep spam their enchants and the 2 attack skills..
there are around 82 or something dervish pvp skills (top of my head cba to check) and most people just use the same skills they get in nightfall at the start of the game... why? not sure. perhaps because they are too lazy to read the skill deions of other skills? don't understand what they do? not creative enough? maybe.
some good dervish selfheals which i can come up with right now are:
natural healing (fast recharge, low energy, big heal)
pious restoration (fast recharge, low energy cost, can lose hexes)
meditation (fast recharge, low energy, chance to choose between energy or health regain)
which have different effects if u're under an enchant, combine these skills with easy spammable enchants if you for example prefer to lose some hexes or regain energy or attack faster.
some sweet enchants :
armor of sanctity (always inflict conditions anyways eg. cripple/deepwound)
shield of force (1/4 second cast,5 energy & 12 recharge AND block attack skill AND weaken the attacker?)
do u even know how very awesome weakness is? many people don't, and would put it in the category of less important conditions to remove/inflict.

- 66% is very much, put weakness on a sin which says his build will destroy u 1 in combo and let him come. when he's done do /laugh and tell him how badly he fails. or on a deadly spiker, for example a shock evisc warrior or lyssa dervish.
- non-zero attributes reduced by 1? can be very critical in many cases, especially to for example paragons with 12/14/16 in leadership or dervish with 12/14/16 in mystiscm, can greatly reduce their energy gain. also, there are people that only use 9 in their weapon damage output attribute, like warriors with 9 in swordmanship...use weakness on them and they do maybe like 3-5 damage per hit, because of the -66% and the fact that they only do half the max damage anwyays.
i personally do not like avatar skills, only play when it's the key to a build.
my favorite dervish elite skills:
- ebon dust aura (better than any ele blindbot, very hard to remove if you got a cover enchant)
- wounding strike (i have an enchant on me 24/7 when i use this elite, such as a conjure. besides, i ALWAYS try to bring deep wound on any damage build i use.
- grenth's grasp (i use this alot on my sin & paragon aswell. i'ts a very usefull elite, low cost & recharge & cast time. not letting ur foe get away when u're on him ftw)
- pious renewal (extremely powerfull healer, heals alot better than any healing prayers monk ever. has some counters but if you've got a good shutdown team it shouldn't be a problem. i ran this dervish healer with pious renewalas ONLY healer in TA with my guild and get easily to 20-40 wins if power and his crew aint around ~~
k, thanks for reading hope you learned something from this. please, unexperienced dervish take my advise and don't bring u're pve build to pvp because there are alot more usefull skills out there and because i will hunt you down and shoot you.

i wasnt talking about any body specific im talking about the coments beg a monk to help u the non helpful ones all those who heled *applause to you* but i wasnt talking to anyone specific i was talking to the ones who were joking around when the guy needs some real help and you did not say anything about preventing dmg u said dont get hit thats it not very helpful if said what u said just then it would of been helpful

Listen the Tha Golden Warrior, he knows what he's talking about.
I gave him a hero monk build because he said something about playing HB as a dervish. If you're gonna do that you need a monk hero - the one I posted is prettymuch the best one for the hero AI (Heroes can't handle Zealous Benediction[ZB])

I see your point, but everyone here actually does have guildwars in common. Plus I'm at work right now, so I try to make posts as short as possible while still giving all the information possible.

as a dervish/ warrior, IN Random Area's not others ^^ bring either earth enchs to keep your self alive or wind prayers healing skill (forgot the name) and my bonettis defnece from the tactic line as its a great defence + energy back.
