For those who havent read about the massive patch that 2.3 is going to bring to professions...including an ENGINEERING FLYING MACHINE!!!
Professions
You can now control-click on a recipe to see how the item that is made by that recipe will look on you in the dressing room.
Alchemy
Added a sound for when a cauldron is created.
Blacksmithing
A new world drop recipe for an Adamantite Weapon Chain has been added. This new weapon chain both reduces disarm duration and increases parry rating.
Cooking
Daily cooking quests are now available from The Rokk in Shattrath City! In addition to gold, you can receive random cooking reagents and new recipes as a reward for completing these quests.
Enchanting:
Duration of wizard and mana oils created by enchanters has been increased.
Engineering:
Engineers can now create incredible new flying machines! Find Niobe Whizzlespark in Shadowmoon Valley to learn these fantastic new plans.
Plans for a new Field Repair Bot are rumored to belong to a select few Gan'arg Analyzers in Blade's Edge Mountains.
Fishing:
Players can now track fishing nodes. This ability is learned from a journal sometimes found in crates obtained through fishing.
New fish can now be caught in Zul'Aman and Deadwind Pass. Recipes for preparing these new fish are obtained through the daily cooking quests.
Fishing difficulty reduced for some areas in Nagrand.
Herbalism
Picking herbs will no longer cause effects on items to trigger.
Jewelcrafting:
A new skyfire meta gem recipe can be obtained from the Coilskar Siren of Shadowmoon Valley. This new meta gem increases critical strike rating and critical strike damage with spells.
Leatherworking:
Stylin' hats no longer require Zhevra leather.
Greatly increased the radius of the Drums of Battle, Drums of Restoration, Drums of Speed, and Drums of War.
Removed the casting time from the Drums of Battle, Drums of Restoration, Drums of Speed, and Drums of War.
Slightly increased the radius of Drums of Panic.
Reduced the casting time of Drums of Panic and added a global cooldown equal to the casting time.
Drums of Speed and Drums of Restoration are no longer world drop recipes, and can now be obtained from the Mag'har and Kurenai faction vendors with revered standing.
A new recipe is available from Grand Master leatherworking trainers to create glove reinforcements, providing a substantial armor bonus. Reinforcements are a permanent enchantment and cannot be placed with other permanent enchantments.
New recipes are available from Grand Master leatherworking trainers to make 20 slot quivers and ammo pouches.
New recipes are available from the Honor Hold, Thrallmar, and Lower City quartermasters to create 24 slot quivers and ammo pouches.
Mining
Mining will no longer cause effects on items to trigger.

Permanently enchant a Melee Weapon to occasionally ignore 840 of your enemy's armor. Requires a level 60 or higher item.
Jewelcrafting: Chaotic Skyfire Diamond
+12 Spell Critical & 3% Increased Critical Damage
"Only fits in a meta gem slot."

Tools: Simple Grinder
Reagents: Skyfire Diamond
Engineering: Turbo-Charged Flying Machine Control
Binds when used
Requires Level 70
Requires Engineering (375)
Use: Summons and dismisses a turbo-charged flying machine. This is a very fast ride. This vehicle can only be used in Outland.
"Requires artisan riding skill or higher to use."

Tools: Arclight Spanner, Blacksmith Hammer
Reagents: Flying Machine Control, Khorium Power Core (8), Felsteel Stabilizer (8), Hula Girl Doll
An amazing machine that allows the Engineer to fly in Outland. This one is turbo charged.
Engineering: Flying Machine Control
Binds when used
Requires Level 70
Requires Engineering (350)
Use: Summons and dismisses a flying machine. This vehicle can only be used in Outland.
"Requires expert riding skill or higher to use."

Reagents: Adamantite Frame (2), Fel Iron Bar (30), Handful of Fel Iron Bolts (8), Star Wood (8), Fel Iron Toolbox, Elemental Seaforium Charge (4)
An amazing machine that allows the Engineer to fly in Outland.
Engineering: Field Repair Bot 110G
Requires Engineering (325)
Use: Unfolds into a Field Repair Bot that sells reagents and can repair damaged items. After 10 minutes its internal motor fails.

Tools: Blacksmith Hammer, Arclight Spanner
Reagents: Fel Iron Bar (18), Khorium Power Core, Primal Earth (4), Handful of Fel Iron Bolts (6), Adamantite Frame (2)
Cooking: Spicy Hot Talbuk
Requires Level 65
Use: Restores 7500 health over 30 sec. Must remain seated while eating. If you spend at least 10 seconds eating you will become well fed and gain 20 Hit Rating and Spirit for 30 min.

Reagents: Talbuk Venison, Hot Spices
Cooking: Skullfish Soup
Requires Level 65
Use: Restores 7200 mana over 30 sec. Must remain seated while drinking. If you spend at least 10 seconds drinking you will become enlightened and gain 20 Spell Critical Strike Rating and Spirit for 30 min.

Reagents: Crescent-Tail Skullfish
Cooking: Kibler's Bits
Requires Level 55
Use: Increases the Strength and Spirit of your pet by 20. Lasts for 30 min.

Why does it need a hula doll to create?
That's simple, because the Devs do occasionally have a funny bone. I wouldn't be suprised if it's sitting right there on the dashboard of this contraption after you finishe making it. They do seem to have a lot of fun with their engineering stuff. It's amazing that the Gnome race hasn't wiped themselves out in some sort of transporter malfunction!
Maybe the old Hula Girl on the dashboard dates me a bit. I figured everyone would get that.
