Hey guys need some friendly advice. About 10 days ago a friend of mine sent me a Trial Key to City of Villains. Mostly played that the last 2 weeks until my trial expired today. It is a cool game, however I noticed the missions became the same and it started t become WOW like in that sense. However, the character customization beats the pants off any MMO out there. I like there upgrade system for ability but can’t respect on the fly of course.
The people on there are very cool and found it very easy to group and because the loot auto assigns it’s self like in GW there is no arguing over it like in WOW. Now I am starting to miss the fact in GW that you can only group with people in cities and not off questing.
However, I don’t have to pay any monthly fees which rocks since I own the game. Now if I want to continue to play COV, I have to buy the game for 20 bucks and then pay 15 bucks per month.
I know I need to decide for my self but I want to hear your thoughts. FYI, the GW Campaign I am playing is Nightfall’s.

Well, you can buy a CoX collecotr's edition code for 10 bucks online, then you can add that to your original acount. Also, you can keep GW and CoV up at the same time for one fee, thats what i have, but I don't really play GW.
Thats all I can put in on the topic, I know your pain though. I am a game hopper between WoW and CoX.

As Mech Beta said you can find the game for as low as 10 dollars (US) online. There is a GvE code available through PlayNC, BUT that is not a Game Activation code, so be careful and read what you are buying before purchase. It is only for the 'Extras' from the Good Versus Evil Edition of CoX (costumes, Pocket D Teleport, etc). If you want a 'cut-rate' deal on the Game Activation code; I would check eBay. You would be surprised how low a Collectors Edition DvD (unopened) or GvE Edition, etc. can cost. Of course there is always Amazon, and other eTailers out there. Shop around and you can find a decent price. OR look on the shelves of your local software retailer.
