i don't see any bots more anywhere at all! usually there were hundreds at bergen and citadel etc, now i can't see a single one anymore... since the /report feature is out, the prices of vitual currency on the net has increased immensly, from around 60€ for 1 mill, it now is around 110-120€ for 1 mill...
great job anet^^
( i did go bot hunting right after the /report update lol, used up all 50 uses ;p)

how can you tell if they're a bot? I usually go silent if I'm farming... and then send out a selling message in the trade channel every time I return to town... (multitasking ftw!)

Is it just me or did there use to be a load of almost identical botters with the same armour? Wan't that a dead giveaway? I noticed that when I was passing through the marketplace a few months back.....

The bots I have seen most people run, yes. Kinda funny too....watching at least 1 person a second run up to the flag, then zone out of town.
Now, a good bot, made for private use, would probably avoid the flags so they dont get banned along with everyone else. :P

Obviously noone on amp would buy gold, buying gold is for noobs, and would ruin the fun! What fun is there in buying a 15k set if you've just paid some cash over the internet for it? It would just destroy the game for you... effectively having infinate cash would make the game boring...

I know he wouldnt do that , I was just messing :)
And you can tell if they are a bot by their name and the way they walk. Sometimes they stand still near the zone in the same position as someone else
Btw Golden , Dont get offeneded about the gold thing.

You would be surpised, I remember locking a thread awhile ago because the guy was asking where to buy gold. But he was new to the site so I locked it and warned him....he ended up apologizing for it and promised to try to not post anything against the rules again. :)

I have noticed Bergen being populated by humans only these days, it is a good thing :) Loot scaling evens out again for us human farmers and we get more now (either that or Ive just been very lucky lately during my Nebo -> ToA run, in fact I didnt complete that last time as my inverntory was full wth stuff I didnt want to throw away).
Never saw the point of buying pretend money with real money, it's such a weird concept.

I agree in getting more......doing only 1-2 UW runs a day for the past 3 days, I have gotten 3 ectos. Since hard mode came out, up until about 2 weeks ago, doing at least 30-40 UW runs within that time, I got 0 ectos.

but back on topic i agree the /report feature must of rly pwned those bots. It was just too much effort to report before, now its like gd old runescape report lol.

I do that a lot when navigating through towns. I have a lot of lazy methods of doing stuff while in town. I don't ever bother selling stuff to other players. Everything goes straight into the merchant for direct cash.
I enjoy my No Hassle playing.
Thats why I never really minded the bots being there. I only hated them for AB battles.
Made for another forum I go on, Just felt the need to do something with this sig.

you can tell if some one bought there armor from ebay or what by the way the person plays and the build.For instance I was doing the frostmaw with a PUG on my monk and we had a verry good grp intill we saw the war using orison healing on him self and that he had a destoyer weapon. And he wasnt not verry good wat at all

as someones alrdy sed hes probs just oldschool, and having a destroyer wep doesnt mean hes Ebays its not hard to farm 100k for a destroyer
