hey, on my derv im at the point that i need to defeat the griffin solo, ive tried a few different builds but just cant figure out how, anyone got a build that might work?

Use a degen build. Preferably a ranged one. Changing to ranger secondary works. He went down very easy for me when I took him on with my ranger. I just went to the high ground and bombarded him with degen skills. Hope this helps.

What about for a 'sin? I'm going crazy trying to take him down. Any advice would be helpful!

what is your primary prof.
i did it as a Necro MM , normal MM skills and rotting Flesh and life siphon killed him.

i tried for ages with my ele, using loads of weird and wonderful combos. finally did it yesterday after checking the discussion part of wiki on him
I went Ele/Necro and took Lightning orb,blinding flash, animate bone minions,blood of the master Mark of Rodgort and a fire wand. use the wolf corpses as soon as you load up then when he becomes hostile just get your minions to surround him, i blinded him to make it easier but i dont think it was necessary. then thanks to the burning from Rodgort he just went down quick, didnt even summon any spirits (altho i think that was a lucky glitch)
So whatever proff, just switch to Necro basic MM. And any degen skills you got left over.

an option is going secondary necro.
once you enter the area you'll see corpses of wolves around the griffon to use.
i took the skill that makes 2 small minions, jagged bones, death nova and some blood degen (wich is regen for you).
as soon as you enter you have some time before the griffon becomes evil (from green dot to red dot),start making minions get death nova and jagged on all minions you make and watch him die.

Wow If knew that b4 getting it glitched it would heen nice. My monk just used a spirt spammer build it self witch worked wonders.
