Coming back to CoV

Okay...so...I cancelled my account a while ago (Which I kinda regret now xD) because I just got fed up with a bunch o' stuff that's been happenin in CoH, (Someone finished my PL mish, griefing in PvP, Influence Spamming, etc.).

So...after a having a break of my favorite addictive MMORPGs, I think I'll come back.

This time, I'm gonna try focusing on CoV, as from what I've heard it's more fun, better PvP combos, and easier leveling.

Anyways, could anyone post a couple Solo-PvE buolds that could also do good in PvP?

(Also, I've heard that a properly build Necro/Dark can Solo-PvE well, it can PvP like crazy, and can possibly PL, is this true?

RE: Coming back to CoV

Not really the best person to subscribe a PvP build...however, if you grab a Necro/Dark MM, you'll be doing just fine! You may also want to look into a Bot/Dark MM as well (better offense IMO...more of a ranged set, bubbles for defense, Mid-level bots heal the others...).

RE: Coming back to CoV

I prefer my choice of spines/regen for pvp and to some extent pve, my favorite brute would be my Super Strength/Fire Aura brute, the MM would prolly be necro or bot / dark , and i dont know about carr or dom i dont go there, its just an opinion so :XD

i'm with Bishop...necro/dm is the way to go. they don't suffer from mezzes like "live" pets do,however you want to keep a short leash on them as they need more supervision than most pets.... they have no brains,....hello they're zombies!!, and of course fire is never good against dead flesh.

RE: Coming back to CoV

If you're looking for an MM build you could also roll Ninja/Dark which is actually on par with, if not better than, Necro/Dark. They play similarily, but Ninjas are much more balanced than Zombies and more powerful in some respects. A well built Ninja/MM can hold their own in PvP versus pretty much anything. It is a great support class for PLing, but no MM build can run a PL by themselves. For that you'll want to run an Elec/Stone Brute which dominates everything in PvE while doing alright in PvP as well. Elec/Stoners are the go to guys for farming a PL mish as they can rip through the mish in no time with a kin or two for support. It's really up to you though. I suggest you experiment a bit at first then fine tune later. That's just my two cents anyways.
