I've been away from Guild Wars since before Nightfall. I'm about to come back and play it. Gonna pick up all 4 games at once, and was curious as to what class combo I should go with first and which game i should concentrate on getting through first. I like doing PvE a lot more than PvP, but I do hop in AB from time to time.
Any advice, tips, tricks, farming advice, etc is accepted.
Thanks.

Go through nightfall with an old/new character. (New characters: Paragon, Dervish)
Then move that character onto GW:EN and complete that, once completeted spend all the phat lewt you've been saving on those cexy reskins! =)
oh and...Welcome Back!

Personally, I'd play through the campaigns pretty much in order: Prophecies, then GW:EN (or save it 'till last) then Factions and finally Nightfall.
In terms of your profession, I'd go for either Monk, Ranger, Elementalist, Necromancer or Warrior. This is simply because you will find it the easiest getting teams with one of these professions. Ritualist and Assasin can be fairly needed, but not as sought after as the previous five professions. Also, Dervish, Paragon and Mesmer are still fun to play, however most players, especially in high-end areas, prefer specific team builds and these rarely include one of the previous three professions.
At the end of the day though, it's your choice. Maybe make 2/3 initial characters with differing professions, and play each of them for half an hour. Get a feel for the profession and decide which one you like the best. If you're not playing a profession that you like to play, then the game just won't be as fun.
A great place to look for builds for both general PvE and farming is PvXwiki.
I hope you enjoy your return to Guild Wars - welcome back! ;-)

Id make a dervish, with the pve skill Eternal Aura once you get a Elite Form you can keep it up all the time and it makes everything much easier and fun. I would then go in Nightfall(since youll need some skills, and its IMO the best campaign),then Factions (its easy and fast to finish), Proph (longer than anything else, and will keep ya busy for a while and finally GWEN (its the last one since its suposed to be the end).
peace
