Anyone know what ever happened to the scribe? For those of you who don't know/forgot what it is/was, it was the official news thingy on the guild wars website that gave hints about upcoming events and just generally gave you news about things going on in the game. It seemed like such a good idea, but the last issue to come out was back in may of this year...

He must have got lost, stumbled into the UW for instance and eaten by a hungry Aatxe?
Or maybe he finally met a player that wasn't "very generous and kind" and they reported him. Or something.

I was recently wondering the same thing myself, it was fun to read and a good way to 'big up' the players in the game that were being helpful - bring it back ! I miss it :(

I was bored and there were no new threads, lol.
But, yeah, it was only today that I actually realized this. It's weird not having a new scribe on Wednesdays...

PS: Notice the date I asked Gaile that, and we are yet to see the return of the Scribe.....Basically, unless Andrew Patrick or Gaile decide to start writing for The Scribe, it aint coming back. :(

The person that was doing the Scribe has accepted a higher position in ArenaNet, and doesn't have time to put forth to the Scribe any longer. Gaile has said that there will be future scribes, just not the weakly, like there was.

I sent in a question to support about a month ago asking this same thing. I was Supposed to be transfered to Gaile but I guess my message was just deleted sense I haven't gotten a response yet :P
