| ok i have a halloween idea (for real life) |

some ppl are stupid enough to leave the bowl out and trust that ppl will take one piece. well i have a new spin on that idea to teach the little brats who take more than 1 piece a lesson.
would it be illegal if i put a sign (very visible) next to the bowl saying, "If you take more than one piece of candy you agree to take no legal action in the event of a dispute on this premesis." Then i sit back watch. if some1 takes more than 1 piece am i legally allowed to:
1. slap their bag out of their hand
2. push them if they are old enough
3. chase them off with a baseball bat
tell me your thoughts

I dont think stealing, pusjing, and chasing the kids would be such a good idea.
But what you could do is scare the living sh*t out of the kid who takes more than one (always a chance in them dropping their bag of candy for the taking).

Well..I guess you're in America what with the leaving-the-bowl out and such but in the UK everyone gets prosecuted by the queen (in theory) and so it would be the CPS prosecuting you if you were to push them over, which I think would count as assault or something (and so criminal law not civil law, so the kids don't make the claim, the crown does)..
But like I say, dunno how it works in the US.
Edit: CPS stands for Crown Prosecution Service, if anyone wanted to know.
Second Edit: I also don't know how it would work if you were to injure them and they wanted to claim for that
(But you have to be pretty sadistic to go around injuring children, even cretinous chavs..)

im running around with a shovel and scraping it
all over the ground and scaring kids with my mask
and just watch their faces tear up... kinda mean
but u know whats meaner? while im watching them
tear up, im gonna steal their bags and RUN!

yeah but i dont want them to get away with that extra piece of candy >.> so just scaring them then letting them run away isnt good enough. also im only 16 so like kids 14-16 that shouldnt even be ToT'ing i think i should start a fight with ^^

Buy a chainsaw, rev it up and charge everytime you see one taking too much. Then if anyone complains just say you were getting into the spirit of Halloween, and the bodies will be cleared up by the morning anyway.

Haha, that is great, but I got a good idea.
Me and another friend will sit on my steps in front of my house. We will each dress up as normal "fake" people, with a hoodie, jeans and such. We will also have a sign taped on our chests that say: "TAKE ONLY ONE PLEASE".
If they take more than one, We will jump and pull out our fake knives and yell: "I SAID TO ONLY TAKE ONE!"
Lol. And if we get bored, we will occasionally pop up and say: "I WAS GOING TO GET THAT ONE!"
This should teach those kids that are greedy, lol.

3 words...sugar free candy mwahahahahaaha, they'll have so much in there bag they won't know which candy has sugar and which doesn't they'll be plauged by this memory for months! and will neverstep out of line again.
or you can just leave out Monkey nuts and apples (red apples ofcoarse, no one likes rad apples) and that'll annoy the hell out of them, around 30% of what i used get was monkey nuts and apples....:(
use the make em knock at door then give em the sweets that you want to give them method,works here.

brings back the days of going to the theater and seeing the pls take one candy bowl fulled with mints and me and my freinds grabbing had fulls it and filling are pockets with it. But back on topic it allmosta good idea but if your that hard up on people taking more than oen candy bar u might just want to hand it out your self.

I acually did this 2 years ago, put the bowl out and had the sign to not take more then one.
I had one of those old cameras linked up to the vcr so I could see them and if some1 took more then one I had a walky talky underneath the tabela nd would yell
"GIVE ME MY CANDY"
and my other firend was in the bush besides the bowl adn jumpted out
It was really fun because voice was one side and he jumpted out from the other
