Pandora+gw/wow= choppy?

As many of you know, listening to music while playing your favorite videogame can add to the experience. Though listening to the same songs or artists using your favorite media play can get boring. So this is where we turn to internet radion. For me, I use Pandora.

See, my problem is, when having Pandora playing in the background on my Opera browser, while playing Guildwars or WoW, the music is choopy/broken up.

It happens to me 75% of the time. Sometimes minimizing helps to cure the problem for a few minutes. It only does this when I have the game up. When the game is minimized, the problem disappears.

Specs:
Amd 64 2.2ghz cpu
1gb ddr ram
Soundblaster Audigy X-Fi 5.1 soundcard.
ATI X700pro 256 ddr2 video card

Doing multiple speed tests, my download rate is 4500kb/s and my upload is 345kb/s. The server was located 205 miles away.

All help would be greatly appreciated and would be gainful of credit due to this basicaly ruining my gaming experience. (Yes, playing music is that important to me)

Thank You in advance

Use Winamp to listen to Internet Radio.. Not Opera. It'll most likely help quite a bit

I used to have a similar problem, when it got choppy id minimize the game and pause/unpause the music then return to the game. Seemed to work, cant remember how long for though, give it a try.
