if you are a mastermind, with the minions power, could you make your villian to look just like those you summon, then summon a bunch of yourself and make it harder to pick you out of the crowd from a small fry.

Well, only Thugs have 'normal' costume parts, except for fully upgraded Enforcers with their gun-belts. So practically, yes, you can make your char look like one of your henchmen.
Though, if it's PvP youre talking about when saying 'pick out of the crowd', then remember that your name will always be displayed with a fiery orange above your head, not to mention you problably spamming your secondary sets' powers over the Dual Wield gun shots.
And.. uh, 'summon a bunch of yourself', how ?

Oh yeah, completely forgot about ninjas, heh. But they have the dual Ninja Blades on the back and the quiver, etc.
You can only have 3 minion henchmen at a time (Genin), and, non-de = ?

Interesting and yet scary all at the same time.
I'm not sure that the NPCs have that kind of smarts to even think about who is who, i believe they just shoot on site. As for regular players....I'm not sure that would work either....as your Name, Title, etc. will float over your head :)

NPC's generally aggro to the attacking Henchies. Of course if you throw an attack; you become a target also. PLUS any debuffs you throw will make you public enemy number one until your henchies draw aggro away from you with an active attack.
Also Remember: If your Henchies go down to an enemy, said enemy will be drawn to you like a magnet. They seem to have a sixth sense about MM's. So if your Henchies are biting it hard; it's time to put some distance between you and the attacking NPC's so that you can raise new Henchies when aggro burns out.
