| What is the next milestone and Ampers @ play in SB |

Inquiring minds have to know what is the next big date for this game; you know like next Beta phase or announced release date etc. The folks behind this game have done a nice job of including GameAmp on their site and our own Phedre was a Beta winner so that definately keeps me wanting to know what is happening with this game and without violating an NDA are ina Amp'ers in the Beta now? As a former Shadowbane player and fan of games like Dark and Light I bet this game will have somethings of interest happening that we are not seeing in other games currently on the market.

I've been pretty interested in this MMO too. The last I've seen is that the newest release date is Q1 2008. They've been putting off the release for a while now. It's much better than having a premature release and having frustrated players.
I'm really looking forward to playing this game. They have a great storyline.

Yes I am glad they are being strong and holding back until they have something good. I think financial pressures to release early are big factors in Dark and Light as well Vanguard not having the success they could have had otherwise. Thanks for the response and update, this is definately a game to watch and keep an eye on.

I am not even sure I am allowed to tell I have not beta tested, but I have not beta tested the game. I know some people who know some people that are in the known, but it has been almost a year since I heard the latest updates. I hope they have been working hard on making it the very cool game that it could be.
I think we will have to wait for quite a bit longer. The game seems to have lost all hype at once had, and I would suspect that a few months before release they will try to build up that hype again. Even on the official site there is little news. Maybe I am very negative here, but it might take another full year before it will be released.

I'm in the beta. I don't think I'm supposed to say any more than that, but I can tell you I'm definitely looking forward to buying a new graphics card, and I haven't heard any dates other than what was already said in this topic.

Pulled from here. To summarize, a new phase of beta has started and they are planning on a Q2 2008 release.

We have recently started the final tests for The Chronicles of Spellborn.
Beginning of last week, a new phase within the internal beta phases has been initiated with a brand new version of the game. Up to now these tests have performed very satisfactory, so that they can be expanded pretty soon to larger participants groups like enlisted community members. Server stress tests have been successfully completed by our team in Autumn already.
Thus we expect a release of The Chronicles of Spellborn in the second quarter of 2008. Based on the test results of the next weeks and the upcoming series of Closed Beta tests, we will announce the beginning of the Open Beta and then specific release dates for each territory.
