Hey guys, was hoping to get some input from some computer knowitalls.
I am currently connected to DSL and have Wireless. But my desktop computer doesn't have a wireless card.
What kind of card should I get?
-Router is Linksys 2.4GHz Broadband.
-Provider is Bevcomm.net.
If I need to answer any more questions, let me know.
Thank you.
PS: My desktop is a Windows.

Why would you want to go wireless? Seriously. I prefer to go wired for my gaming computer, so I'm curious what would make you go wireless.
If it's just for convenience, getting rid of wires everywhere (tripping issues?), just about any will work. The main thing to look at is WHICH style of wireless the router is...A, B, G, or N. It looks like you have a G band router, so any Wireless -G would work (try to stick with LinkSys since that's the same as your router).
If Death takes me now I shall not fear, for I have lived and life is good.

First get rid of your DSL and get high speed digital Cable...unless you have Fios then I take it back.
Second, D-link works great with my link-sys router. If you want simple go with the USB adapter, if you dont mind a little installation go with the PCI card. The gaming ones are called xtreme N, but I managed to game on my laptop fine for years on a regular ol airplus one. Never had problems with it.
Also never had problems gaming on wireless compared to wired, it didnt make much difference at least in my house.

Well, I can't switch from DSL, because that's all we can do out here in the country, other than satellite. *shudder*
I want wireless because we have one port in the house, and I would rather have my computer on the other side of the house. Reason being it would afford more privacy and less risk of trouble regarding breaking.
G is right, lol. Didn't know what the Wireless-G meant, but that's what's printed on the router.
Alright, cool. Any recommended brands or online stores? I looked at Newegg.com so far. I'm American btw, I know there are some good sites European exclusive.
Thanks for the help.

NewEgg is pretty good (that's where I got a majority of my computer parts for my last build), but if you're in a hurry you can just run down to Wal-Mart (or whatever is closest that has an electronics section and isn't evil :p ).
Like Dru said, easiest is a USB adapter, but if you want something more permanent and aren't afraid to open up your computer, grab a wireless card (usually PCI).

my brother is in the same boat, he is hoping that verizon runs the fios down the road soon because the fios is actually faster than digital cable. Though I think i still love my digital way to much to give it up.

Actually, I don't think it's that bad at all. Never really have lag unless the Blizzard background downloader is active. 200 ms is normal for me, even in busy areas like SW.
