Ok, most know it, and mabye it's obvious and I'm just not seeing it, but where is the 'clipboard' in mids hero desighner ( the thing you use to import export stuff to/ from forums)

At the top of the window, says import/export. Like this:

What I mean to say is that whenever I hit 'import from forum post' it says and I quote "copy the build data on the forum to the clipboard. When this is done, click ok', so I hit ok (because I have no idea what the hell the 'clipboard' is or where it is) and it says and I quote " unable to recognize data. Please check that you copied the build data from the forum correctly and that it's a valid format". Now I understand your suppost to take that seemingly random stream of info after a person posts a build and put it somewhere (the clipboard I assume) but where the hell is that?! There is no 'clipboard option', nor does it prompt one when you try to import/export. So my question is, where is the thing (window/option/whatever) that lets you put that stream of info into your comp and/or onto forums, thus posting a build. Thank you wolf for trying, but you misunderstood. Anyone elses help is appricated, and I hope Im being clear.
If not... That sucks, but O well.

the clipboard is the name for the area where the data is stored in your computer. When you highlight the build from a forum post and right click and select copy (or hit "ctrl-C" to copy the information) the data is stored in the "CLIPBOARD" on the computer. This is the clipboard they are talking about.
So, once you have copied the data you click the import and and when they ask you to click ok, it is because they are going to look at the stored data that you copied.

Gotcha. Highlight the data on the forum post, right click the highlighted area and click copy. The go to Mids, click import/export, import from forum post, click OK. It should bring it right in.

i have wondered this myself, can anyone clarify at what point in the data you should copy from EXACTLY(start and finish points please. if you have a build you can throw up on forum as an example would be a huge help.

And gambit, after you hit the export to forum (short or long), and that window about build data being placed in clipboard, just go tot the forum, to where you type and right click, hit paste. Bam, its there.
