*edit* - i took a quick walkthrough. none of the maps seem terribly well suited to 4v4 TDM :( the most interesting of the lot is The Pits (a Q2 remake IIRC). Reminds me of asbestos, with a bunch of moving parts, ambient atmosphere - except with >2< 50s, a keg, a 100 and DD...

My thoughts after a quick run through...
Nothing very good.
the map with the berzerker power up is interesting, but only suited for pubplay. It's a gimic map.
Thepits is fun if your a quaker. Though I don't agree with the item placement, and I'm not sure how well it works in UT. Nostalgia factor ++
The 1v1 map reminds me of rough. I'm not sure if it can be salvaged with item swaps though, to me, it's just to open and has a huge area of dead space.

It's a shame that the coolest looking maps always play like crap. =( I really like dm-contrast though. Very cool map imo.
The only ctf map I could see working is Aithanarid, the other two are designed like they were meant for instagib.

RancidMetal would make a good TAM map, but the rest is pretty bad.
