Leaving gw

Well, we know now that the sequel is on the way. But the big question is... will you be abandoning GW for GW2 - throwing away all your hard work thus far - or will you strike a balance between both games, or is GW2 not the game for you?

Me? Mix of both. GW2 looks interesting, but I love my characters and not ready to abandon them. + I heard they will still have many surprises for guild wars while guild wars 2 is out..

What do you think? Only you can decide

Time will tell. I will most likely be playing both. But Iwill be playing more og GW2 and less GW. But both will be played.

Gw 2 unless it sucks or gw 1 gets a whole lot better while I'm playing gw 2.

I will continue to play GW:1 to unlock the stuff in GW:2 via this HoM...it better be worth while!

well, Ive returned to guild wars cause WoW's pvp is... lacking. I never knew how good GW's PvP was, and to answer the question, yes, I will most likely get GW2 and play both GW/GW2 =]

GW 2 is like... two years away :|

There's no telling what kind of mood I'll be in when that time arrives I havn't even bought EotN yet.

I don't see why everyone is still freaking out about "abandoning" the characters they have in game right now when GW 2 comes out... it's like saying "The new Zelda looks sweet..... but I already beat the old one..." xD. The amount of times I've replayed Zelda even is massive.. I guess it's just comming from a core console gamer's perspective. We've never gotten to transfer old items to new games so we're used to starting completely over for sequels.

I'm sure there will be still a tonne of people on GW 1 when the second installment comes out. Even if there isnt' that many most people just H/H it anyway so there wont be that much of a difference.

I can't tell for sure now but unless my friends bug me to get it I don't think I'll be a "PC Gamer" for much longer. My 360 is givin me enough lovin right now and if I get a Wii I'll be consumed by the console world again...

I will play both but more gw2. In the mean time I will wine about things costing to much, title grind for HoM -_- and Just waiting for the Fork in the road to point one way or the other.

OK when I saw the topic I said wow anouther leaver but your not your just seeing what every one is doing with gw when the 2nd one comes out.Me It prob gonna be more gw2 then one I mean i got almost 10 mill on my necro and allmost done vanquiahing and guardian elonia but i prob have 10 mill b4 that. I have other chacters I could be playing but I really dont want to go thru Eotn again once was aenuff for me with the horribe ending and what not and the crappy redyed faction end game greens :-\.

agree with kanna, time will tell.

Just by GW2, se how its going and the link with ur GW1 characters. In fact I don't mind having them all gone, a fresh start is fun too. I love my characters but new ones will be cool too. ;)

I'll probly stick with GW 1 as there lot I have never done and it took me a long time to get reasonably experienced and I kinda like the origonals of games.
