Paid Character Name Change

Welcome to the Paid Character Name Change page. This service lets you change the names of your characters. Please note that each name change costs $10.00 per character name changed. You can change a character's name as many times as you like, but you will need to wait 90 days after the last name change became effective before you can change the name again.
Before you begin the character name change process, please familiarize yourself with the World of Warcraft Naming Policy.

The Paid Character Name Change process is not immediate and may take several hours to complete because of the approval process involved. Your character will NOT be available for play during this time.
Each Paid Character Name Change costs $10.00 (not including applicable taxes). This covers a single name change for a single character.
A character's name may only be changed once every 90 days.
The name you choose must be available on the character's realm, and must be within the World of Warcraft Naming Policy.
A Paid Character Name Change cannot be reversed once completed, except by a second name change operation (subject to the above costs and limitations).
Once the name change is completed, your character's old name will be locked from use on the realm for 90 days.
After that time, the old name becomes available again and can be claimed by anyone on its realm on a first-come, first-served basis.
Please review the Paid Character Name Change FAQ for answers to common questions about this service.
The Paid Character Name Change service only allows one change per transaction. If you would like to change multiple character names, you will need to pay for each one separately.

Hmmm...I didnt know Blizzard finally implimented this...I am actually not sure if I like this, now I may have to find the NEW names of people I dont like to put them on ignore LMAO...but then again I could change my name to "DRUINATOR" WOOOHOO!

What do you guys think?

I think that's cool... and I don't mean about the DRUINATOR! =P

Anyways, I like it and I do have a couple toons that I kind of regret the names :(

Ps: I suck at naming, probably got it from my mom... cause my name in RL sucks -_-

I wish they would implement this in Guild Wars (without the fee).

A friend of mine wanted to transfer his other character.. a 67 lock, to the rest of us on our server. But his name was already in use so he had to change it.. So we had a good laugh comin up with names.. We came up with propane gnome.. Just as a joke, But he seriously did it. He logged out and typed prompanongnome
Which wasnt even what we said but he isnt the brightest and couldnt remember it exactly -_- Anyway.. to make matters worse it didnt fit.. And he is now known as prompanongnom! >_>

Anyway.. Now he's planning on changing his name with the paid character name change system. :P Especially cause we rubbed the fact his name sucked in when we were going out.. :P hehe.. Man did we have a laugh.. We actually thought it was a pretty cool and funny name at the end of the night. :P

Check out Pirates of the Burning Sea... Yarr! We got some interestin stuff goin on!

The same guy went around as ''strontkop'' which means shitface.. Untill we told him that really was even below his level..
He then said he didnt change it and hadnt noticed it.. Other mate told us he'd changed it while he was at his place.
He had been going around with that name for about 2 months.
