Hello everyone!
I am new to Guild Wars and Gameamp so I decided to say hi!
A little about me:
No I am not a girl but my username is Mia Utono because that is the name of my one and only character on Guild Wars. I like being a girl because I think it's funny when a small and weak looking girl kills a big strong warrior. I got my account from my cousin because he stopped playing and said that I would like the game. He is also the one that told me to go to this site if I ever had any questions because he said that when he played that he came here all the time. His username I believe was Dags.
I have decided to play as an Elementalist and it is giong to be my only character until I do absolutely everything possible with it. So far I have gotten two spells. They are Flare and Aura of Restoration (love em both).
Besides me saying hi I was wondering if I could join a guild if it is possible. And how do I do that? I figure that if the game is called Guild Wars then I should be in a guild! ^^
I hope you guys are as helpful as my cousin Dags said you are because I am positive I will have many questions! ^^
So once again hello to you all and I can't wait to see you all in game!

Hey and welcome to GameAmp,
First of all gratz on your Elemantalist, wise choice. The professions itself is on it's core not to complicated but you can easily change that with a good Secondairy.
Monk or Mesmer should be a good start.

hey and welcome to gameamp ^^
i remember my first days in Guild Wars, also made an Elementalist. Still have him now, my first character. Wait till you get Fire Storm you will like that one also ^^ (at least i did)

yep lots of guilds ther recruiting
as for the questions well fire away allot of usefull hints and tips here. we have a guides section for a bit later on in the game gives you an idea about many of the missions and playing styles.
find out about skills you dont have yet see some cool armor that you can get from exotic locations and chat about weird things. there are little drop down boxes above the thing there and theres some links on the left too. or just ask :D

Welcome to amp!
Frank sinatra is the best music to ele too.
Meteor shower+Savanah Heat is an amazing sight.
Maelstrom+Deep Freeze pwns casters in large groups.
Have fun with one of the most fu ncharacter types in the game!

I'm sure you mean he bought you your very own copy since sharing or passing on an account is against the EULA and could lead to a banning if you were caught ;)
And yes some of us remember Dags, its a shame he quit but where one falls another steps up!
Check out our Top Guilds to see whos recruiting or just make friends in game and join their guild. Having people to play with your first time through the game ca make a huge difference and is a whole lot more fun.

Third: If your looking for a guild then the website has a guild all of it's very own currently lead by our present site manager Kanna ^_^ This is a link to the application thread.
I actually saw you on earlier today, your cousin dags, was on my friend list, and i was suppried to see the account active after such a long time. It is good to see it used :)
