I need help with a super team!

Ok, so here's the deal. I got the idea to create a super team from a comic book series I read. In the comics, seven different characters (one of them was a villain of sorts) are selected by fate and circumstance to stop demons from taking over the world. They never actually work together, and barely meet each other (can't remember it all, sorry). My idea was to take 7 hero builds and maximize them to create a team that has the best of everything, and is completely able to cover any individual toons gaps.

The goal in mind for this team is based on a badge coming with I11, Master of the STF. This badge requires successful completion of the STF under two extreme challenges. The challenges are no deaths and no temp powers. Anyone who has done the STF knows that it is very hard to do without a single player dieing, and while possible without temp powers, lack of them can make it even more likely that the team will suffer at least one death. This badge isn't required for any accolades, and is only good for bragging rights. Alot of bragging rights. The goal is to take a team of seven heroes, add in one other hero of the appropriate level, and rock the STF successfully under these conditions.

Anyway, my dilemma is this: I'm lacking players for the builds! So far I have 4 players lined up, and a potential fifth player. All of the players are Ampers. I'll give a list of the builds for the team, with the player playing each build.

Ill/Rad----------This one is my baby!
Spine/Dark-------My lovely wife, Nasazi
Stone/Stone------Lethal Dose is helping me out (Thanks!)
Emp/Elec---------Lord Starwolf is also helping (Thanks!)
Fire/EM----------Starwolf's daughter may do this for me
Rad/Psi----------I need a player!
Kin/Dark---------I need a player!

What I'm asking for is two volunteers to roll one of these toons up on Victory and commit to playing with us every Friday and Saturday night at 7 PM eastern. I already have a Super Group set up, but we don't have a base yet. I'm looking into forming a coalition with an already established SG on Victory so that we may use their base while I prepare ours.

There are a few minor, but important requirements. One is that Assault be taken before level 14, so that Tactics may be taken at 14. I've seen first hand the power of a team in which each player is running both those toggles. The damage output is insanely higher, especially for low level toons, and you are guaranteed to almost never miss, even against +3 or +4 foes. Another requirement is that you fit Recall Friend into your build at some point. You also must get all essential Buffs/Debuffs as soon as they become available. This means putting off things like Stamina or extra attacks for some builds (My Ill/Rad at level 10 only had Radiant Aura from her secondary, but has Assault, Hasten, and Recall Friend already, meaning she is set for Tactics at 14 and Super Speed at 16). Of course, if you are unsure as to which powers to take, I'm always available to ask.

Character names, backgrounds, and costumes are completely up to the owner of the character. Like in the comics, this team was drawn together by fate to save the world from the forces of evil.

Hey Warron...I have a 50 fire/kin, 26 grav/bubb, 23 stone/fire and 17 emp/rad on Virtue.
Would like to be the 8th and you could coalition with us for base usage.
Times might be tough though since I am on the west coast but would love to try.

Hummm,

I have a kin/dark on Victory, but I may not alway be able to make it every Fri/Sat. My job haa me working 10 hour days, and there is talk of starting a second shift to cover the work. And there is talk of send me overseas.

The idea of having a fixed playing time for a toon is great. I have a villain that that is only played Sunday afternoons and because I don't play it often it is still fun every single Sunday, even after two years. So based on that I would love to join you. But unfortunately 7 PM eastern means midnight for me, and although my mind would love to join, I suspect my body has other ideas by then.

Alright, part of the old group died out, so its time to get this going again. The Emp, Ill/Rad, Fire/EM, and Spine/Dark are all filled still, with players ready to pick them up and get going again.

Need a Stone/Stone tank, Kin/Dark defender, and a Rad/Psi. Respond here, PM me, or send me a tell @Warron Peace or @Nasazi Peace and let me know if you are interested. Solarix (@Lethal Dose) is willing to play either defender, so I need two people to pick up the tank role and the other defender. Let me know!

Oooooh! Very tempting. I already have a great stone/stone concept running on Champion, and I might just make an alternate universe version for your "Seven Soldiers of Victory".

EDIT: OK, I've come up with a very different background for basically the same type of character (animated statue-pretty girl-stone/stone tanker). I won't be able to get on this coming Friday (though Fridays are usually OK), but I should be able to participate otherwise.

7pm is right about the time I try to log in on Fri and Sat anyway. Barring unforeseen circumstances, I don't see why I couldn't agree to play a certain toon on Victory those days and times.

Count me in as one of the defenders also. I'll PM you which a bit later, unless Solarix picks one first, then I'll take the other.

Oh, on second thought... I work my second job some weeks during those times, so I guess I can't commit 100% to it. :( Guess I better sit this one out. Yeah, inevitably I end up working either Friday, Saturday, or Sunday nights or any combination of the 3.

I would love to be in on this, but I can't commit to being there every Friday. I sometimes have to work at night on Fridays.

Since it seems several other people also have no other reason not to join other than that it is on Fridays and Saturdays, perhaps you could pick a different day.

If I could commit to those days, I could take on the Blaster build, but Controllers are what I play best.

I would also be very interested to hear why you chose those particular combinations, other than to get those sets into the mix. The only obvious one is Fire/EM.

The point of the various combos is to get almost all damage types represented. We have Smashing/Lethal/Fire/Energy/Negative/Psi, and a little bit of toxic damage represented. Plus, the setup builds I have have everyone having some type of hold, as a means of mitigating Ghost Widow.

Also, the times we play aren't set. If you are interested, PM me what days and times you are available, and I'll try to set up two days a week we can meet regularly.

X, blackphoenix just agreed to do the Rad/Psi. You can still do the Stone/Stone, as that is the only one I need filled still. Solarix is most likely going to do the Kin/Dark for now, unless his connections will make that not possible.

I always wanted to be apart of a super team. (to lazy to set up my own, might wait for summer). Any way if you are still needing a stone/stone tank let me know, but id be willing to play anything needed. And i will be able to play every Friday, its the days in the middle of the week, mainly Sunday-Thursday, that get me.

So if you another person ill play anything, but if your full, ok good luck.

Edit: Just occurred to me I don't having any character on Virtue, so i wouldn't have a 50, so unless your starting over i would only slow you down. Sorry

Good concept Warron! Kudos to you.

I would have loved to help you out and enjoy your idea... but alas, I am not available before 9 pm on Fridays... and i think all my Victory slots are already filled and none to fit your requirements as they were built for 2 little interelated SG there.

But have fun with your grand quest and keep us posted on your exploits!

Those builds are all capable of high Single Target damage or AoE damage/mitigation. The point is to take out the minions/LTs fast and debuff and pwn the bosses/EB/AVs.

Right now it looks like I'm all set with this lineup:

Me: Ill/Rad
Nasazi: Spine/Dark
Solarix: Kin/Dark
blackphoenix: Rad/Psi
Starwolf: Emp/Rad
Lord X: Fire/EM

We'll see how it goes with this team. If anything, Gantz may not be able to play as often as needed with the rest of the team, so the Rad/Psi position may need filling. We'll see how it goes, especially with the new baby in the house.
