Hi guys, I just wanted to let you know that I am approving all news on the gameamp forums right now. I was trained by Grifter and I plan to hold up his standards for news. I encourage everyone to submit news spots for 25 credibility points because I am on at least twice a day (once in the morning EST and once in the evening EST) and many times I check the site multiple times a day so news is posted quickly after being submitted. But there a few guidelines that you must remember.
- You may NOT copy and paste the news from another site, including arena net. All news must be put into your own words to warrent a front page spot. If you want to copy and paste then post it in the forums.
- You may use a quote but it must not be the bulk of the article.
- You may NOT use pictures on the front page larger 200x200 pixels square, this is to keep loading time down for those who are not lucky enough to have a high speed connection. If you use pictures upload them at the bottom of the article. If you do not use your own picture please pick one of the ones provided by GameAmp.
- You may use news from any site, it does not have to be from ArenaNet. If you visit other gaming sites and they have something interesting up related to Guild Wars, go ahead and post it, just reember to write it in your own words first.
- News spots should be between 5 sentences and 15 sentences long and contain who, what, where, when, why and how of a story. If it is shorter it will not be approved. If it is longer I may ask you to post it in the forums and put a synopsis of it in the news post.

MMO News Forums, anything by Meredias
I encourage you all to submit news, it is an easy way to earn credibility. Read something interesting? Then write your own version of it and post it here. I hope to see more posts soon.

But more importantly, is it just me, or is the Holiday Promotion post missing the green comments link as well as the number of comments, along with a picture?
You can still get to the comments by clicking the title, but I find it easier to hit the bring green text...when its there. :P

It's not just you. That happens when you don't set a News Image when approving the News Submission. Just edit it and select an image.

Ok, I thought it was caused by IE6 as once I got home, it worked fine. (yes, I know....IE6.......too lazy to put Opera on my computer at work)

Thats why I told people to upload the image at the bottom instead of using an [IMG] tag for it, then the line would show up instead of two images.
