Best way to Make Gold

I was just curious what's the best way to make money? Do you just farm ore and sell the ingots or do you craft and sell some thing in demand? Or do you play the auction house and look for good buys and resell? I am asking as I am having trouble making gold.

You make more money not processing the ore. This way people who are leveling in their craft need it too. Even the merchant pays more for raw ore.

RE: Best way to Make Gold

What vocation are you? Maybe I can give some more specific tips. I find that gathering materials for a couple of hours can rake in a couple of g's- I usually do this in the Misty Mountains, for ore. Trolls in Dol Dinden drop 13-17 silver each and can be solo'd fairly quickly at higher levels (47+).
Maybe grind out some mobs for traits or pages, this kills two birds with one stone.

Hope this helps, any more questions? Feel free to ask. =)

RE: Best way to Make Gold

Whenever I am in need of a good amount of cash really fast. I usually go out and either find a good spot with humanoid victims to fight. Nan Tarnaeth in the Trollshaws is a very good spot. You get a good amount of silver off of wights or the concur. You will also get Rings of Rhudaur and some scholar drops that can be sold for a good amount at AH. If scholar is your profession however like me :D there are t4 nodes all over this area you can sell. This is how I do it if I am currently out of Ancient Iron Oxide.

As a scholar using the best tool however is where I make the real cash. The fact that I have a really great Kinship helps alot here tho. Since I can not gather the Iron Oxides needed to attempt making black dye. I usually get the word out to all my friends that I am need of some Oxides usually somebody is around gathering the Ancient Iron they drop from. Then when I have a few people gonna collect up some and drop em in the kinhouse I head for Angmar. Western Malenhad is where I find the best drops for the crit items for the dye. I go to this area and kill as many worms as I find until I get a good amount of Huge Worm Eyes. (this is also a good way to save up cash in the process) After I have enough of these it is off to The Bree Rep dungeon to collect some mats. The dungeon is located just south of the great barrow and is a very good source for t5 scholar nodes. These are to make Ancient Scholar Lore to help with the crit success of making Black Dye. You will need 1 lore for every 4 Dye you can make. After killing through the spiders n wights collecting up as many mats as I will need for my lore. (another great side money maker) Now I head off to pick up my oxides and make the journey to Rivendell to craft the dye. Using the Superior Ancient Iron Scholar Glass+Ancient Scholar Lore+Huge Worm Eyes= A 80% critical chance I make up the dyes in sets of 4. That is how many can be made before the Lore wears off. When all finished you can easily get 100s-120s each for the dye. This might not seem like much but when you go sell off a stack for 5g+ it sure is nice. This is how I paid for my house as well in 2 days of collecting n crafting I bought my house for a lil over 8g n had enough to fully furnish it.
